The Oasis changes its menu daily, and I am thrilled we have several more days in our trip to see what other home-style delights are on offer. Tonight, Chef Karen's perfectly-fried chicken breast cozied up to a decadent honey pecan sauce for a comfort-food fantasy. In the interests of being healthier with one of my choices, I ordered a side tossed salad and was blindsided by the flavorful freshness of the salad greens, which are grown organically a stone's throw away. My husband enjoyed every bite of his grouper with creole sauce and green beans with ham. Neither of us shared -- we were hoarding our own selections! The Oasis is well-named, as the breezes were cool, the staff and fellow patrons were friendly, and the food might inspire some dreams.
