as of march 2016 this attraction was not in service. we heard there was some dispute within the municipality over maintenance.
La Garrucha is another teleferico that is open, it is much older and a little scary with very basic construction but provides exceptional views, there is a bathroom and small restaurant at top it is definitely worth it for the views.

The Cable Cart where closed due to maintenance on our first day in Jardin. So the next morning we took the ride up directly after opening at 11:00AM. The views from a seating area before a closed café are majestic and we spend a couple of hours to take it all in.
