It was lovely to walk along the beach here. Gran Tarajal is calmer and quieter than other more touristy towns in Fuerteventura. We found that it wasn't as windy so it did feel a lot hotter here than the beach we normally go to.

Great little town to aim for whilst driving down the coast.
We parked up and had a walk around the town and down to the beach.
Nice to get away from the tourist resorts and see some locals and natural living.
The beach is massive with nobody there, great for some quiet time.

Great to show the kids the volcanic black sandy beach, they found it fascinating! Not very touristy, lovely and quiet - great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busier towns.

Had a lovely relaxed dinner (casual, pizza etc. ) with a group of teenagers. Staff so lovely and facilitating of big groups. Food was nice - not exceptional, but nice for a very decent price. Beach is wide with loads of space for kids to run around. Local people are really friendly!

Nice beach, first time when I see black sand and was a nice experience being used with powder yellow/white sand beaches. Not so many activities, looks more like a quiet, family beach. We spend only 30 minutes for a quick swim so I might be wrong. No stones in the water.
