Unfortunately is the only hotel close to the ski area.
Our room was comfortable enough but not big and well furnished; basic toiletries are too small for two people or are not included...
At least they should offer breakfast for this price!!
I wouldn't recommend or go back.

The place is just right for enjoying with family, friends, working colleagues and solo. Found it most relaxing where one can unwind from work stress, have a walk in snow and mediate. If you are with working colleagues, it privides proper setting for intense duscussions for a group of few to fifty people while enjoying intercontinental cuisine. Breakfast is just perfect so is fun. It is so quiet and peaceful that you can hear your in conversation with you. You can go out, skii if you like or just soak in sun or snow. Have just pure fun, nothing else!

So we stayed here for a day on the Chinese new year and went snowboarding. I didn't even ask for a balcony and they gave me a room w the balcony so we were happy about that. I've been to Europe a few times and i know what 5 star hotels look like and this was def not that but the staffs here were really nice to me and their breakfast was pretty good for a hotel in Korea. Oh and be aware that everything in this area is overpriced but that's because it's Korea so i ain't tripping about that.

If you are a ski lover and you are very rich , it maybe suits you.
The location of this hotel is the plus side. Doors open to slope so If you want to ski from early in the morning till late at night , you are going to love it.
You are going to pay 300 ~ 350 USD / night minimum as an average for what? Isa the room very special ? NO, Is the service special ? NO Is the facility and the features in the room very special ? NO . so what is special? ONLY and ONLY the location regarding the ski slope.
I was in 4th floor in a room with a bed and a sofa bed. bathroom was very basic and old, WI-FI either not working or too weak to be used.Room was clean. If you get the room with breakfast, breakfast will be for 2 and you have to pay extra for the kids. You touch anyting, you are going to pay a fortune. The problem is there are not similar facilities around so basically there is no competition for customer service. I'd like to repeat again, If you are a ski lover and want to ski all the day/night , regardless the price you pay compared with the quality of room/service you receive, here will be your heaven.

Room Tip: Also check another hotel close to this one called " Family Hotel" I haven't stayed the...

Driving up to the Tyrol Hotel from the Busan area was a delight. Parts of Korea we had not seen and the scenery as we neared the resort was fabulous in the autumnal colours. Driving up the hotel through the village and up the driveway gave a very good view of the mountain and hills that for the backdrop to the hotel. The hotel was interesting from the outside and did indeed resemble a tyrollean style hotel! We checked in and were asked to pay the full stay of three nights. Our deluxe room was nice if quirky with a large double bed and a selection of pillows. Having driven a fair distance we decided to stay in the hotel for dinner. Disappoinment number ! The hotel advertises a western restaurant and a Korean restaurant. Only one was open and that had a choice of about 4 or 5 dishes for each food choice of western or Korean. We chose Korean as the western menu was very poor to say the least. Before completing the order, thankfully, we asked for the wine list. The waiter disappeared and came back some time later and said that there was no wine. I took him to the cave which was beside what looked like a fairly reasonably stocked cellar. No key was the reply. We cancelled dinner had to pay for the two beers cash as they could not be charged to the room and left for a local restaurant. The bar was closed that Thursday evening but we were promised it would be open on Friday and Saturday. Disappointment 2 the bar did not open either Friday or Saturday nights. When questioned the receptionist advised that the new management had decided not to open the bar which was the same excuse that we were given for the lack of key for the wine! I advised the receptionist that we should have been advised of these closures and that a refund for the increase in price for the weekend stay over a weekday stay should be refunded. The duty manager was consulted and refused this suggestion! Hence disappointment 3! Disappointment 4 was the breakfast or lack of it. No buffet and a very expensive $22/head price tag. Two eggs on a plate and a few slices of white bread and what we thought was possibly a Danish Pastry.

We had been due to stay a month earlier as part of a business meeting/conference but the local sponsor advised that they were concerned that the hotel would not look after their guests correctly. I assume that if we had visited then and had the same treatment then our sponsors would have been very upset.

In summary the hotel is mis-advertised and certainly falls far far short of the star rating it gives itself. The staff that we met were very pleasant but quite obviously embarrassed by the new managements policies. We fully appreciated that it was probably between seasons but if the hotel advertises facilities then these should be operable or advise given when booking that the facilities would be restricted. At just under 300 USD average per night for our three night stay it was very poor value.
