was really cool. when we arrived at 10am we had it all to ourselves.but was busy by about 12.
No local restaurants or drinks places so bring your own stuff, or just stay there for an hour or so.

Buho Rock is a coral rock shaped like a small ship docked at a port in one of the cliffs of the Western Poblacion in Poro. It is situated in one of the few public beach resorts on the island. It is a great place to be as a viewing deck to explore the turquoise waters of Camotes’ ocean with your naked eyes. For you to really enjoy your stay on this particular site cottages have been built with native-style roofs and open sides, and sits and tables are available, of course.

For you to exercise a little bit, you need to walk a steep flight of winding stairs to reach the ship-like structure. Some visitors also enjoy not just searching the horizon from Buho’s viewing deck…
They also snorkel, swim, and even dive from that structure then swim back to the nearby shore and climb up the stairs.Being not a private establishment, Buho Rock allows visitors to bring in their food or snacks to enjoy better the view.

Quite remote but well worth visiting. A very steep climb down to the rock and quite exhausting to climb back up if you are elderly. Very clean and simple showers provided to wash after you swim. Not brave enough to jump off? Walk down to the rocky beach, make sure you wear slippers, and enjoy the crystal clear water.

After walking down many stairs reached the point beside the sea for viewing only to find it all under repair with many issues of concern regarding health and safety, with broken down walls . Insufficient safety barriers. Then was exhausted by the time one had walked back up the steep staircase.

You want extreme adventure? You want to test your strength and bravery? You want to conquer your fear of heights? Then, this is the place for you!!! Buho Rock has a charming view from the top. It has amazing rock formation that some portion even give a coca cola body look, however it is best known for its diving. People who come here, do the cliff diving with some exception and I am one of them. What I really like about the place is the people around, they chant, cheer and celebrate with tourists who conquered their fear and or satisfy their desire for adventure. The guides are also very supportive, friendly and humurous. The people in Buho Rocks reflects the good side of the Filipinos. I am inviting to visit Buho Rock, it is absolutely worth your time.

the place is quite remote...their restrooms are small but very clean. I encourage those who are coming here to really try to go down to be able to appreciate the view. its quiet tiresome and not recommended for people with arthritis, heart and breathing problems as the steps are narrow and very steep. But I tell you the view down there is awesome. Those who are into cliff jumping must try their 40 feet cliff jump for the record.

There are no restaurants around, only a small store. If you happen to go there by habal habal, get the drivers number to pick you up, otherwise it will be a long walk to the main entrance leading to the highway to catch a ride. Or make them wait for you. for a price

Buho Rock Beach is a good destination for sight-seeing and lounging around. You can also try cliff diving when the tide is high. They have a platform for safe cliff diving. You can watch the sunrise or sunset here because both can be visible at Buho Rock. The stairs going down the rock can be a little intimidating if you don't like exposed places, but the view is worth the effort.

This is a recommended area to visit, but not for staying long.

This beach was very beautiful but dont expect a sandy beach like Santiago Beach. Whilst we didnt swim it looked a great spot to have a swim in the crystal clear waters.Very quiet area with just one othre family having BBQ Lunch on Buho Rock.
