The main reason we got this four bedroom right next to Bear Mountain was due to the price and amenities. Listed on the big bear cool cabins ad was wireless internet, and cable tv, Of course the hot tub. We got this specifically for those three luxury items. When we got there the cable was not working and the internet was down. These two were highlighted and after talking to the owner of the house and big bear cool cabins nothing was done to fix or reduce the cost. Plus some very basic things were also missing: a coffee pot for the coffee maker and when we asked big bear cool cabins to bring one they never did. We couldn't even have coffee before we hit the slopes. The service was terrible a lot of talk with no action. The best thing about the house was the hot tub at least this worked. After a day on the slopes this hot tub worked perfectly.

The house is very spacious for a 4 bedroom two story. Definitely a lot of common areas which was really nice. There is a large living room upstairs that was perfect for everyone to watch a movie with the second tv in the house. Since cable wasnt working we rented dvd from redbox and returned them to a redbox back at home.

i would have rated this vacation rental a lot higher if the advertised items were there and if big bear cool cabins offered better service.
