“Relaxing holiday in a beautiful villa with the friendliest and most helpful owner”

We stayed for 2 weeks in the beautiful Villa just outside Gaggi. The Villa had everything we needed and more. We loved Gaggi, a very friendly village 10 mins by car from the beach and from the gorge (well worth a visit). The pool and gardens are very pretty, the outside kitchen and additional shower room by the pool mean you virtually live around the pool which suited us very well. What made the holiday really special for us was the helpful advice Giovannini gave us, and when we wanted it, the guide role he played - helping us with parking by the beach, sun bed rental, showing us great places to eat, cooking for us and even providing cookery lessons with his wife Angela.

“Beautiful Villa in historic Gaggi”
Reviewed 13 October 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We only stayed one week in Villa Pagano. The Villa felt so authentically Italian walking to the pool and outside kitchen underneath grape vines, surrounded by olive trees, lemon trees and orange trees and with a fantastic view of Mount Etna, of which we went to top and would highly recommended you do. Giovanni and Angela were very warm and hospitable hosts and were very keen to impart their knowledge and advise and we would thoroughly recommend their offer of a home cooked Sicilian meal and pizza night where we were waited on by the pool surrounded by the beautiful scents of the flowers under the stairs, a very memorable evening and fantastic food andGiovanni was very keen to help you taste his amazing assortment of liquers and wine. The area is surrounded by many historic sites. We visited Taormina, a must. A boat ride from Giardini Naxos to Isola Bella, the Alacantara Gorge and many other sites which are all recommended to do and for which we ran out of time in the one week. We shared a meal at Cantina dei Pescatori with our hosts and we highly recommend a visit there for the best seafood meal you will ever eat. We had a wonderful week and in part it was the warmth of our hosts who treated us like family. Thanks Giovanni for the ride on the back of your scooter to the beach. Was great fun. All in all it was a very memorable week and one we will look back on fondly.

Our thanks to Giovanni for a truly wonderful two weeks at their beautiful villa. The way in which you looked after us and met our requests was wonderful. After the two weeks I was so relaxed I had trouble finding my pulse.

The villa has all you need to cook and for a memorable holiday.

Giovanni your cooking was wonderful. It is a big world! but Angela and Giovanni we will be back to be spoilt again. I already miss the mushrooms

“Relaxing rural location with lots of wonderful extras available”
Reviewed 21 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

This was our first overseas holiday with our young daughter, so we hoped it would be extra special. Thanks to Giovanni's wonderful hospitality it was a trip to remember forever, and we hope to visit again very soon.

The villa is in a rural location on the edge of a small town, but there is a supermarket within walking distance. There are also other local shops such as a fishmonger and some small restaurants in the town although we didn't get to try them. It is surrounded as far as you can see by orange trees, olive trees etc. and Mt Etna is visible in the distance.

You can easily reach popular towns and beaches such as Taormina and Giardini Naxos. The beautiful northern slopes of Etna are only a short drive away too. Giovanni gave us lots of advice on places to visit both nearby and further afield - but we didn't have time to see them all. He also gave practical advice such as good places to park in some of the towns.

For us the best part about the stay was Giovanni's hospitality. We felt we were treated like old friends, and he was a big hit with our daughter who is usually very shy with new people. We really enjoyed the optional extras such as the Sicilian meal he cooked for us, a pizza night, homemade wines and liqueurs as well as produce from his garden.

Sicily is a beautiful and interesting island, and Villa Pagano is a very special place to stay.

“Wonderful place to be”
Reviewed 4 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed in this wonderful villa at the end of april 2014. It is truly a wonderful place to be! The house is very nice and the garden is breathtaking. Al kinds of fruit trees (oranges, lemon, mandarins, kumquat etc). There is also an outdoor kitchen and a clean swimmingpool. The very kind owner Giovanni and his wife Angela take good care of the villa (everything is clean) and their guests. Giovanni is a great kook and gives interesting information regarding the surroundings (and tips where to go to).
