The Fletschorn is a very good restaurant though not cheap. The cuisine is innovative and well prepared. The service excellent- attentive without being over formal or too fussy. It is not the best Michelin starred restaurant we have eaten in recently - the choice of dishes was not as compelling as we had hoped and the ingredients good but not outstanding. Overall a pleasant meal in a wonderful setting. We enjoyed tramping through snow covered woods to reach it. It is not an arduous walk from the centre of Saas Fee, just long enough to justify the eventual meal! We went for lunch which is sometimes less good than dinner in a restaurant of this kind but would we go again? possibly but not certainly.
