Took a walk with my friend to the lake - the hike is quite easy and you never feel overwhelmed. The lake is simply beautiful. The restaurant was closed when we arrived - but it was expected, as it was off season. It truly is the most beautiful place to visit when in Flims.

Caumasee is still itself beautiful. And once walked past the paved path and lift, it's still back to nature ... somewhat.

It's trending in the wrong direction though with the bar-lounge style cafe and the resulting tourist impact of the social media picture postings

It is very good idea to try to go in week-days since there is much less people. Also, it is entry fee free. It is very nice spot to finish or make a pause during the possible hikes around. The colours in the water are stunning. I just loved it.

Seeing the lake down ahead, walking through the woods coming from Flims was a great experience. Ideal place for a swim or pit stop while biking, hiking or just enjoying the nature. If you just come to swim walk passed the restaurant entrance as on the other side of the lake you can jump in for free.

We travelled 5 hours to come to an event here. Staff were exceptionally rude and we left straight away. Waste of a drive. Would NOT recommend.

The most beautifull lake in switzerland, ideal for swimming and very clean. Dogs are not allowed at the beach but are welcomed in the restaurant and on the opposite side of the lake you can take them swimming. There is a lift that takes you free of charge down the lake, in summer the lift closes at 5 pm but if you do not mind a small hike you can walk to the parking lot. You can go hiking or use a mountainbike trail around the lake. Definetaly a must see when you are in the area.

Very beautiful but also very crowded. So touristy and not very authentic anymore. Great start to walk the Rheinschlucht though!

A short walk through the forest takes you to a gorgeous viewing point and two elevators. Once you come down to the river you have to pay entranceThere is a restaurant and lounge area and plenty of grass and space for people to sit down , have a picknick, put down towels and enjoy. .We went here on the 1st of August, a swiss holiday so , of course, it was crowded.
However it started raining in the afternoon so people left . The water was refreshing and a perfect way of cooling down during this hot swiss summer . You can swim to the island jn the middle or jump of a large rock in the water. You can rent paddle surfboards or small boats . All round, its a fun trip for family and friends. And then landscape is beautiful.

This is a very nice place. Entry is a little expensive for the bady: 36 chf for 2kids and 2 adults. Think of arriving early bcz there is not so many parking lots. 30 mins walk from parking to the lake.
