I used to be local to this perl and came here often with friends. The lake is a short easy walk from the car park (10min) though a mystic forrest with tiny rivers. There is either a lift which is free, to comMute from the footpath to the lake or you can walk. The lift runs during opening hours of the lake (9-5). You have all facilities you need near the lake including play area for kids and restaurant with waterfront terrace.
The entrance in free of charge during the winter month, but try to go there in summer as it is worth seeing the beautiful colours of the water. The water is very low during the winter month and the lake will only fill up after the snow melt. However it is a mystery where the water comes from as the lake has no inlet. Geologists belief it is all groundwater.
Secret tip: if you keep walking on the path (rather then taking the lift) you will eventually reach a lake called Crestasee. Which is not as colourful as Caumasee but also very pritty and way less crowded.
