Weekentrip on the board of the Rhine. Perfect location, clean rooms, equipment is a little outdated but in perfect working condition (except for the shower, it switched constantly between icecold and steaming hot...new spa-idea?). Service is correct and friendly. Restaurant is fine but be sure to be on half-board or to have reserved for dinner and breakfast. Hotel is used by lots of "touring" companies but as an individual guest you are not aware of this. Dinner is choice of buffet or à la carte. We were not subscribed for the buffet, so we ate à la carte and we were positively surprised. The remaining night we would have tried out the buffet but reception had not subscribed us, so we had to fall back on the "Stube", but all in all a very nice evening with correct food. so, perfect for a short romantic getaway.
