We had a little bit of trouble finding the place and from the outside it didn't look like much. However, once you enter the front door everything changes. The decor is upscale and slightly artistic. I recommend dressing up as the restaurant is obviously meant for special occasion dining. However, on a Tuesday night it didn't seem to matter as the restaurant was entirely empty. The menu is Germanized Spanish cuisine. It is very similar to what you will find in other "Spanish" style restaurants in Weiden. They offer Tapas, salads, main courses, daily specials, and desserts. They also have a nice wine menu, and I can recommend their house wine by the glass. The food was well prepared. The shrips in garlic oil were good, but the mushrooms stuffed with cheese were amazing! I had the fish platter and found it very well prepared. 5 different types of fish prepared in 5 different styles. I was a little disappointed by the sauce. It appeared to be little more than mayonnaise, but at least it was on the side and I could ignore it. For dessert, I can recommend the cherry and mango sorbet. The presentation was pleasing and the sweet flavors were a wonderful finish.
Overall, we really enjoyed our cozy and romantic dinner. Everything was just right. If the restaurant were full, it might have been a little annoying as cozy turned into tight. Also, the outside of the restaurant could be prettier.
