We stopped by on our way past this restaurant off st. Marks square. We had a coffee and asked about evening meals. We were advised on some specials which would be at a discounted price. When we arrived we were given a drink and waited on attentively. The food was good, not as good as the other restaurants we had eaten at but tasty and plentiful. We chose a 24euro bottle of wine. When the bill arrived we found ourselves paying 277 euros which included a 12% service charge. I felt we had very poor value. We had a much better meal the previous evening at a restaurant recommended by trip advisor for 111euros and better wine. The lesson here, when traveling in venice look for the trip advisor posters in the restaurants, they will save you a fortune and ensure a wonderful experience.
