Our stay at Chalet Beziere exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived to a warm welcome from Grant & Alex everything was in place for a perfect holiday. Our bedrooms were spacious & comfortable, the ensuite bathrooms & endless hot water a real joy. The comfortable sofas, interesting art work (look out for the cuckoo clock) & log burner were appreciated by the adults whilst the children were impressed by the extensive DVD collection. The food was excellent, breakfast coffee fantastic, afternoon tea & homemade cakes, tasting as good as the smell of them cooking when we arrived back. The children's supper was enjoyed by us all as we could not resist 'just a try'. The evening meals were amazing - perfectly cooked & presented and as for the wine!

We are hoping to return next year as the Chalet is perfect, Samoens a charming village, the ski area extensive & Zig Zag Ski School excellent.

if you arer over 61 there is a reductiion in the cost of the Lift Pass - another reason to return!

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Chalet Beziere. The food was exquisite, the chalet is beautifully decorated, with impeccable service and Samoens is a real jewel.

The rooms are all en-suite, decorated with great panache and there is lashings of hot water. The lounge is stocked with a huge array of dvds for all the family and there is sky should you feel the need to catch up on whats going on in Blighty. Grant is incredibly helpful and he and his team provide a brilliant service. It really feels like a home and you are made to feel incredibly welcome.

The chalet is a five minute walk from the centre of Samoens which is filled with fascinating shops and a huge array of eateries. It is a real town with friendly inhabitants and there is plenty for non-skiers to do. The grand massif express gondola is 5 minutes on the bus from there you are whizzed up to 1600. The bus stops opposite the chalet . We all came back at varying times of day and never had to wait more than 10 mins for a bus back to the chalet so any doubts we had about ski buses were allayed.

We are a mixed ability group with ages ranging from 6 - 63 and we all enjoyed the skiing and the delights of our home from home, My niece was desperate to stay on and become a chalet girl she loved it so much. The children were given an early supper (whilst we were given pre dinner drinks and nibbles) and we were able to enjoy our gourmet 3 course dinner in peace with lots of very good wine. There was also coffee and cheese on offer.

We cannot recommend highly enough the Zig Zag ski school at Samoens 1600. My daughter (6) learnt more on her first days skiing than her brother did in his first week. They were patient, fun and excellent teachers with impeccable english. The older children had a great time and there skiing really improved with Julian. We watched the grumpy ESF haranging there charges and felt relieved that we had decided to use Zig Zag it is worth going to Samoens or Morillon just so you can use them.

All in all we had a great weeks skiing (despite the weather) and were lucky enough to spend it at Chalet Beziere. The food is amazing, the chalet a real gem and Samoens is a place that we look forward to returning to. If your lucky enough to get an opportunity to stay there then do!

Bring on next year we can't wait to return and this time hopefully my husband can come too and not be tortured by the pictures of the delicious food which I sent him every night whilst he lived off the freezer!

Chalet Beziere is run by a delightful couple who are completely dedicated to making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The chalet has been lovingly furnished and feels like home. The food is fabulous and plentiful. Location-wise, the ski lift to the Samoens ski area is only 5 minutes away and with Flaine within reach, there is access to snow for the whole season.

I could not recommend Chalet Beziere more to someone who was thinking about a skiing trip to France! The chalet is always warm, cosy, relaxing, with exceptional food, and amazing chalet hosts.
I have been returning to Chalet Beziere for the past 4 years, and since returning this time, I have already booked my flights to return next month.
Amazing as always, there is nothing more I can say!

Having skiied in the Alps over several years we were interested to find out what the Alps could offer us for a summer holiday. On all accounts the Alps and in particular Samoens and Grant's hospitality at Chalet Beziere surpassed our expectations.

Walking, biking, white water rafting, paragliding, swimming, high ropes courses ( a great hit with the kids) are all on offer within the town centre. The scenary is spectacular and the town of Sameon is just beautiful without being spoilt by tourism. We did have our car with us which meant we could explore some of the surrounding villages to access some different walks - would recommend Sixt Fer Cheval with it's spectacular waterfalls.

Our accomodation was great (spacious and all rooms en suite) and a stones throw from the hub of the town. Grant made us very welcome and provided local information to help us get the most out of our stay. Each day he created a fabulous menu which I am sure will be talked about and reminised over for some time to come!

Chalet Beziere, Samoens and the Alps in the Summer - not to be missed!!
