We have just returned from Chalet Bobeau. Despite poor weather we had a brilliant time. Liz and Andy could not have done more to make sure everything run smoothly. The chalet comfortably accommodated our party of 15. Food was well chosen and excellent - including for the veggies and vegan in our party. Short walk to the Grand Massif lift is made a lot easier as skis and boots can be left at the ski shop by the lift (Xtreme Glisten = they were great). Hot tub and games room were also highly appreciated. We are immediately booking again for next year.
This was by far the best and most beautiful chalet we've been in as a group. The hosts were very friendly and always ready to help with whatever we needed.
It's close proximity to the gondola meant that we didn't have to walk too far with our gear, which was nice. Throughout our stay the whole chalet was kept tidy and clean, which for this group is no mean feat! The beds were very comfy including the bunk beds and the jacuzzi after a day on the slopes was a wonderful way to soothe those aching muscles.
Although the town is rather chilled out we were able to entertain ourselves in the chalet thanks to the honesty bar, the games room and the many great movies on hand.
Unfortunately there wasn't much space for all the boots, snowboards and skis at the end of the day as the majority of our group had their own equipment and did not want to leave it at the local hire store overnight.
I've no doubt that we will return.
We took a group of 17 to PureChalets. Throughout the booking process Andy and Liz were really helpful and once we were there their hospitality was warm and generous. Make sure you get taken to the bar accessed by skidoo only!
It's a great chalet in an excellent location near ski rental and slopes. Purechalets could not have been warmer or more friendly, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything that we needed. Their knowledge and tips came in real handy during a week of very heavy snow. Food was good and we were left to our own devices all hours of the morning without complaint.
Great for a large group whether you are looking for a relaxing family stay or a few heavy nights.
We stayed in the chalet as a group of 14, and found the chalet to meet our needs. It is close to the villiage centre and all of the amenities, and was well equipped. Aspects of the chalet were looking a little tired, but the owners were more than helpful, even giving us a hand with the shopping !!
The villiage of Samoen is a great base to tour the area from, with Geneva, Mont Blanc close by, and the local Grand Massif area is quite stunning in summer time.
