“Fantastic place, perfect location, splendid fit out, great hosts.”
Reviewed 24 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

My wife, my daughter and I stayed in this cosy little apartment over the Easter break and could not have picked a better location or apartment. Right in the very heart of this wonderful port town, we had everything that was on offer right next to us – the lovely port, the beach, the restaurants and shopping outlets. The apartment is up a flight of about 65 stairs, so not for the faint or elderly perhaps, but the climb is well rewarded by the most glorious little balcony with breath-taking views over red-tiled roofs, sea and sky, both of the latter ever changing depending on the time of day but always wonderful to take in.
The apartment itself was immaculately clean, comfortable and well equipped – nothing has been left out – to make for either a self-catering little home from home, or to relax and take in the views, while taking advantage of all the cafes and restaurants located within a 5 minute walk.
As this apartment is in the “vieux” part of the town, the space is understandably limited which was absolutely fine for us as we were a family unit of 3, and going through the room where our daughter was sleeping to access the toilet during the night was OK for us (and for her), but this could be challenging for other non-family groups or for an all adult group of more than 2. For a family with young children however, I imagine this would be the ultimate fun and cosy place to stay, with ingenious retractable bunk beds and an additional sleeping area in the loft accessed via a ladder off the main bedroom.
For our requirements, this apartment was absolutely unbeatable and heavenly – so much so that we were just happy to stay in, open the books for leisure time, and enjoy the place.
The owner Judy was very kind and welcoming, picking us up by car from the railway station, and taking us to the supermarket so we could stock up for our needs, all of which was really appreciated.
