Total convenience, central location and easy to keep
Two bakeries, the wine shop and grocery within 50 meters of the lift made this an easy holiday. An array of excellent restaurants of all styles are within a 5 minute walk. All the restaurants we tried were child friendly The wide beach is great for kids and safe for swimming. There is a fine tennis club and a really excellent go-kart track on the west side of the town. Barbara's collection of maps and books helped us plan some great day and evening trips,

Apartment in Beautiful surroundings
I stayed at Barbara's apartment in September 2016. My first impressions of the apartment were that it was kept in excellent condition, paint was so fresh looking and it is spotlessly clean. It is close to all amenities, shops, beach & markets and yet at the apartment it is nice and quiet where we enjoyed our breakfast and evening drinks with beautiful views. I'm looking forward to returning again in 2017 and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Home away from Home
After much trawling of the internet for a self-catering holiday in the South of France a friend of mine recommended Barbara's apartment in Canet Plage. I had never even heard of the area but I was promised a beachside town with a strong sense of French traditions. The thoughts of being immersed in the french language with the beach on my doorstep was very appealing.
When we arrived we found the apartment complex very easily as it is in quiet a central location. The apartment itself was very welcoming and provided us with all the utensils we needed to make our own meals and sample the local wines. I am quiet particular about cleanliness, but I was really impressed with the space. It looked like it had recently been painted. The two bedrooms were a decent size but as there was only two of us, we had more than enough space. We found our local boulangerie just at the entrance to our building so needless to say, we were in French-living heaven!
I would definitely recommend Barbara's apartment for anyone looking to bask in the French way of life. We certainly did!

Beautiful bright apartment
Bright airy apartment in very central location. Near shops and fantastic restaurants and very close to beautiful sandy beach.great to sit out on balcony in morning sunshine and so close to promenade for evening stroll.really enjoyed my stay.

Fab apartment close to everything in Canet Plage
This attractive apartment is bright, spacious & tastefully decorated. Breakfast on the sunny balcony with views of the nearby sandy beach which is very long, wide & safe. Bakeries, supermarkets, wine shop, pharmacy, boutiques, tourist office, butcher, fishmonger, outdoor large local food and clothing market and many excellent restaurants are all beside the apartment. Bus stop for bus to Perpignan which runs regularly is close by. This is a very well maintained apartment and Barbara is most helpful with advice on arranging taxis, day trips, hiring bikes and restaurant recommendations. I am returning in May and can't wait !!

EXCEPTIONAL PROPRTY, CENTRALLY LOCATED.
Well presented and centrally located. Walking distance to bakery, great restaurants, local market. Friendly neighbourhood. Have stayed here on numerous occasions and always have a wonderful experience.
Barbara, really looks after her apartment.
Airport, close proximity to Perpignan for bus connection. Cost Euor4.
Acitivies locally.
Cycle hire take a trip on bicycle track to St Cyprienne.
Golf at St Cyprienne, easy to reach.
Beach easy, lazy walk.
Boatrip by Catamaran to Coullioure, great trip.
Sightseeing, to do and see, including Perpignan, Ceret etc.
Spanish Border, easy reach to Gerona.
TGV (FAST TRAIN ALL OV ER SPAIN AND FRANCE ETC ),
CONNECTED TO PERPIGNAN.
Plus much more.
