A charming hotel in a seaside tourist town, although we were there out of season, only 150m from the beach. The room was small (not much bigger than the ensuite bathroom) which was OK for a one night stopover but would not have wanted to spend any length of time there. Hotel is well located, clean and suited our purpose. The husband and wife owners were charming, friendly and very helpful, as were the other staff we encountered. Dinner in the restaurant was good and excellent value. Buffet breakfast was good and as well as the normal cheeses, breads and meats also offered a selection of home made cakes and pastries. I do not usually eat cakes and puddings but in the interest of research tried a few of them; absolutely wonderful, even had second helping of some.
All in all we enjoyed our night at Les Charmettes although Argeles-sur-Mer is not a place to which I would return.More
