Description: A French traditional Brasserie, in family for 40 years. Home made food and fresh . Very nice and quiet terraces at the back of the restaurant

Hard to believe how close this is to CDG and yet feels a world apart. There are a number of quaint restaurants here that you can eat at but we opted for Brasserie le Village.

We have three burgers (all cooked differently and to perfection) and one chicken pasta dish. Not very French (we swerved the snails) but very good. Service was fine and food reasonably priced. Compared to the airport hotels, it's a bargain.

The brasserie is a short walk from the CDG Marriott and we’ve eaten here on our last two trips to Paris. We were promptly seated and a few minutes later a server came by with a board with the specials of the day. Interestingly enough, the specials on the board inside the restaurant did not match the specials on the board located near the tables out front.

I ordered the fish and chips and my husband ordered a hamburger. A couple minutes after ordering our waitress came back to let me know they didn’t have any more fish and chips. I then asked if they had the cod available, and she said yes. My fish came with a variety of vegetables, while my husband’s burger came with fries. We were also given a small basket of bread. Food was good and service was ok.

Once you receive your bill you go to the bar to pay.

Although they were not open on the weekend, we booked a table for Monday evening and were not disappointed. There is a large garden to the rear, where the four of us had our dinner. There was a great selection of dishes to start and for the mains - including escargot which one of us went for (crazy!). I had the entrecote steak and chips, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. I followed this with, of course, creme brulee, which was simply exquisite.
We spent about 3 1/2 hours here, playing cards, drinking and eating, and were not bored or asked to hurry up. Very highly recommended - a great place to eat and make memories

A good spot for a bit of dinner if you’re staying in the airport hotels . The service is good , food quality reasonable and it’s good value . A much better choice than eating in one of the airport hotels .

What a cool, very cozy French restaurant. Located in the village area, which in itself is is very quaint, you wouldn’t think you where so close to all the hotels near CDG airport. The dishes are very standard, but loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Sit outside on the back deck. There burgers are tasty, I recommend the fish (Cod) and chips.
They make a good espresso. The service is standard and the prices are in the 15 to 23 euro range.
