We have arrived after a long a drive in the rain around 10:45 pm. We have checked in and and asked the receptionist where we could sit down to get a glass of champagne. Her response was that everything was closed, they can`t serve us any drinks, but we have bottled water in our room. Not excatly the type of welcome you expect at a luxury chateau hotel. Our room was nice and comfortable. Sadly we could not enjoy anything of the presumably stunning ocean view it was so rainy and cloudy during our stay. The breakfast choice is limited to cheese, ham, cereals, home made yoghurt and oysters, but all very high quality. Their own breakfast spice blend is remarkable.

The best food experience I have had in a long time. Really nice staff and atmosphere. Great location with a wonderful view. You haven't lived until you have eaten here. Worth every penny, a worthwhile trip in its own right

Right on the Brittany coast, the chateau has amazing views including from our room but if you are not so lucky, the immaculate grounds are the perfect place to watch the incoming tide. We found it to be a great location as it is an easy drive to Mont Saint Michel as well as being able to walk to Cancale (5km) along the beach and the cliff face. We were made to feel very welcome and felt honoured to meet M. Roellinger. We ate at the restaurant each night and were never disappointed. Suggest pre-ordering the seafood platter as it is seafood at its best. A special thank you to the chefs for catering for my dietary requirements. They made gluten free bread, especially for me, for each meal and adapted my menu selections to suit. As I could not eat from the dessert trolley, each night they made a fruit salad that was a work of art. Of all the places we visited on our month long trip, the chateau was the highlight. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable especially Shaquille, Rudolphe and our favourite waiter Thomas.

This chateau turned stunning hotel will take your breath away with its gardens and views. It has everything either for a royal stay or royal party. Also, I have told, the restaurant is very very good. They have an in-house bakery that makes real countryside style bread. Highly recommended....
