I say almost since it wasn't but then again, we're quite demanding.
True that this modern new hotel has its own beach with nicely laid out lounge chairs and a pool right there. BUT, there are much longer and prettier beaches just minutes away by car-
We never ate anything more than breakfast at the hotel. This was a buffet, very complete and fresh foods and served till 11.
The room was quiet and spacious with a whirlpool bathtub right in the middle. The shower was excellent with lots of high powered sprays., in a spacious bathroom with lots of storage space. A very comfortable bed with good linens. No balconies but, as it is a small hotel you're on the beach or bar area in no time.
The TV had no English channels, wifi was good with a one time connection. Lighting very good.
Parking available and there is also tennis and petanque.
The receptionists and owner were very helpful and had good suggestions. Except that , contrary to what they said, Langouste was to be had twice weekly in October in the San Marina restaurant in St. Guilia.
If back in Porto Vecchio, we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel is just 5 min away from Porto Vecchio and some restaurants with a view are around. Very modern and comfortable room with a bit of sea view. Staff are nice and we liked the direct access to a small but sandy and quiet beach was nice! Def recommend this hotel, but you need to drive to the town if you are going to eat in Port Vecchio.

I stayed 2 nights in the hotel. Nice stay, very good breakfasts (good food, choice)
Big room, clean. Good bed.
Restaurant: amazing fish, good cooker.
swimming pool, little beach. chaises longues.
Parking, good welcome.
seul bémol: le bruit de la sortie du restaurant Samedi soir, on entend les gens qui parlent fort demandez une chambre au 2ème étage.

This is a new hotel on the beach in Porto Vecchio. Most of the guests seemed to be in their 20s and 30s; it's a chic crowd. It is expensive, but on the whole, worth it.
The rooms are large and clean, but be warned: the bathtub sits in the room and you have a choice of closing the shower door or the WC door (there is one sliding glass panel). I think it's a case of style over substance, but it might not bother everyone. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows, and the airco really worked. I had one of my best night sleeps here.
The breakfast buffet was good. The food looked very fresh. I loved the patio that we ate on; it overlooked the pool and the beach.
The pool has to be a big selling point. There were double bed/loungers around one side, then to another rows of sofas where you could eat/drink/socialize. There were regular beach chairs closer to the water. It was a very well thought out design for the outside areas. Definitely a place to relax.
Two things that I didn't like: lots of mosquitoes, and no English-language channels on the TV.
I would definitely go back (and perhaps try to find a bargain price).

Room Tip: I think our room was called "woods view," but it was basically the parking lot. Our children had "garden view" and it was nicer.

Found this new and contemporary hotel on the web.
We booked last minute and thus were limited in terms of choice or rooms and availability.
But we prefer new hotels, contemporary decor and beach front.
So we managed to arrange our travel schedule so we could at least stay at the Mariosa for two nights.
The prices were more more reasonnable that our two other choices in Porto Vecchio.

Unfortunately, the only room available during our stay was in the Guest House part of the hotel complex.
This part or the hotel is across the street, up in the mountain.
Patial view of the bay of Porto Vecchio.
A little dip pool is set up for guests.

The room itself was clean and comfortable enough.
A bit too bare and not very cozy kind of feel to it.
No phone, no clock. Bare walls.
Bathroom awkwardly designed.
No place for the shower mat for it's in the way of the door.
Poor lighting which makes it difficult to put on make-up.
Big enough bathroom but very little counter top space.
Two small pillows only. Makes it hard to sit up in bed to read of watch television.
Plenty of closet space however.

The main building is where it all happens.
Great restaurant! We had dinner there both nights because it was delicious!
Small menu but covered every option.
Very well priced.
Fire pit and BBQ is their specialty.
Great terrace with a view.
Nice but small pool.
Great lounge chairs and plenty of shade available.
Nice beach area, although many much more beautiful beaches in the area.

WiFi in rooms, not common areas.
Mostly spotty WiFi however.

Staff were all very curteous and helpful.

Would recommand this hotel but in the main building.
