Corsica is an amazing place and well worth a visit, The Roc e Fiori is not. We paid £5000 for two rooms with breakfast in August for a week. Wish we had chosen one of the other hotels. Beds were horrific. Pillows nearly as bad. Manageress unhelpful. although there is a sign at Reception saying English is spoken, but when you ask an awkward question, the English disappears. Bit Fawlty Towers!

Teeny tiny towels. 33 has a cramped bathroom and doorway. Tiny shower which worked ok. Separate tiny loo at the other end of the room with no extractor and no basin. You are constantly crossing round each other to get to the basin. You have to walk sideways into the bathroom doorway to get round the bed.

I think of myself as a reasonably experienced traveller and am not completely fooled by pictures and nice write ups, but nothing here is much like the photos on the website or booking.com. We were not offered any alternative rooms as apparently the hotel was said to be full.

No tea making or water supplied in room. You can't drink the tap water, Just a mini bar. Reception closed art 11pm. Had room 33 and 31. 31 is apparently the only "twin" bedded room, but you still have to share a large duvet, so not much point! All very silly. Also, 31 has only a bath and no shower which is annoying in a hot climate. 33 is a lovely view on the balcony, but the room is very compromised. Could be lovely with a little thought.

No chest of drawers or suitcase stand. Just some random scruffy MDF shelves and a hanging rail in the "dressing room" space in an alcove by the bathroom. I had to ask for some more hangers for that. Doorways are tiny and the bathroom poky with access sideways beside the large bed. Yes it is nice to have a large bed, but not if it stops up the doorway!

The swimming pool is nothing like the photos. It is small, cold because the water constantly runs through it, and there was a cleaning tube in it the whole time. Also in need of paint. The outdoor areas are painted concrete which could all do with a bit of an update. There is a hot tub near the pool, but sadly it is not hot.

We gave up asking questions and did not bother with the spa treatments as the other services were poor. Dinner very good but very slow. We ate there once. Breakfast delicious and plentiful.

Overall we would love to go back to Corsica as it is a wonderful place, but we would definitely find another hotel to stay. Very expensive for what you get and not worth a a 4* hotel rating.

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. We had one of the bungalow cabins which were very spacious and serene. We had stayed at two other hotels during our honeymoon and Le Roc e Fiore definitely stood out the most. The staff is so friendly and attentive, turn down service every day, the receptionists Melissa and Vanessa were amazing as well with some great recommendations for beaches and dinner around the south of Corsica. Looking forward to staying here again!!

A nice, elegant and quiet place surrounded by a beautiful garden. Warm and polite staff. Close to gorgeous beaches, but you need a car to go around. Beautiful island, with strong traditions and tasteful food.

Great place to stay for both seaside or countryside activities, with fantastic rooms, very enjoyable pool and overall hotel design and very friendly staff. It's worth of money to upgrade to Junior suites.
