“Great place to stay.”
Reviewed 22 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Stayed at Dunvegan as a group of 8 adults to celebrate a 40th birthday without the children. House is bigger than photos show and all bedrooms are a very good size. Good outdoor raised seating area with BBQ was happily used one night when we were lucky enough to enjoy a day of sunshine. Middle floor of the house is a great area to cook / socialise as it is large and open plan. Kitchen is big enough to cook for 8 adults and has everything you will need. Would recommend to anyone and owners are very easy to deal with no matter what the enquiry.

“Awesome place to stay!”
Reviewed 7 January 2014 for a stay in January 2014

Staying in Dunvegan was an absolute pleasure. We couldn't believe what a lovely house this was when we first walked in. The web site does not do it justice. Huge living area on the middle floor with amazing view across open farmland+ great open plan kitchen which was perfect for a big group/large families. The bedrooms are fab- spacious, warm, comfy beds, loads of en-suites .Everything worked too which makes a change

Local area really beautiful with some great scenery, walks and interesting places nearby.

We were a group of 8 adults with 5 young children ( ages 2-9) and it all worked out great! 5*
Met by the owner who gave us a full guided tour. Even had wine and shortbread waiting for us on arrival !

“Amazing house with gorgeous furnishings”
Reviewed 26 November 2013 for a stay in November 2013

We stayed at the house to celebrate my Dad's 60th birthday. There were 14 people in total (4 children, 2 infants and 8 adults). We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is beautiful and the living space was extremely large. Everyone had plenty of room. The furnishings were all to a high standard. I would definitely recommend this beautiful house to anyone who wants a nice quiet, relaxing weekend away in a stunning house. We would definitely like to return in the future. From the moment we booked to the end of our stay Jan and her husband have been great at communicating with me and I have found them to be most helpful and genuinely interested in their "customers". Great service! Great house!

“Spacious and relaxing surroundings!”
Reviewed 28 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

This house is stunning! If you want large open space to relax, this is it!
The middle floor is entirely open plan kitchen / dining / lounge area with a decked balcony. The kitchen is kitted out with everything you could possibly need, all appliances are integral. There is a huge American style fridge / freezer, easily bit enough for our group of 6 adults, 2 under 12s and a 1 year old, celebrating a 1st, 40th and 70th birthday.
Both (huge) downstairs bedrooms have pristine en-suites, each with a bath / shower. There is also a downstairs toilet in the entrance hall.
One of the top floor bedrooms is also en-suite. There is also a double bedroom next door to the large bathroom. The final top floor bedroom is geared towards sleeping 5 children but it is so big 5 adults could equally be at home here.
The whole house was spotless and it was obvious the owners keep this property to a high standard.
The house sits in between Dunbar and Berwick Upon Tweed both just 15-20 min drive and both with large supermarkets for all your needs. Berwick Upon Tweed is steeped in history and worthy of a visit to walk around the top of the old defence wall!
In summary, this house is rural, very spacious, spotlessly clean and is an ideal property to socialise and relax in.
Would highly recommend!

Liked best: Everything - loved the kitchen but especially the radio/music in the bathrooms
Liked least: There was a little noise from the trains from the top bedroom but I'm a light sleeper anyway and would not say this was a problem.
