Spent a lovely week here in high season in a family room double and adjoining twin - simple but clean and cleaned daily. Views good from the room and although the hotel is set in fairly barren grounds the garden in the front is well kept. Car parking available on site, barrier too and excellent shuttle service to the beach during the day and into Vieste at night. Great stay. Lovely breakfast and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

We toured Italy and spent three nights at the hotel, it was a spacious room, excellent breakfast, great beach facilities and minibus connection into the town.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish and would definitely return

We just had a great 3 days at this modern 4 star hotel in Vieste. Parking, breakfast & beach umbrella /lounge chairs are included!
This is a 3 yr old 45 room hotel with very spacious & welcoming grounds. The manicured gardens, gate & ample entrance provide immediately a great impression of the hotel: the lighting at night make it also very appealing. The decor is great Italian design in white; orchids & modern large paintings complete the decor. The rooms have all the same layout & size and have a balcony. The room, although not too large is very comfortable: the bathroom had a separate large shower for 2, and the toilet with bidet has a separate door. Very efficient, providing privacy & great use of the space. A desk, tv, minibar & ample closet complete the setup.

The only comment is that the A/C seemed to have a mind of its own: even we turned it off, at some point during the night it would turn on by itself. Maybe we just didn't know how to use it. To the hotel's defense, we never told them about it or inquired how to use it.

The breakfast room is very large, with about 40 tables. The buffet was complete: from delicious local fruits, all kind of pastries, croissants, eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, etc. automatic coffee, cappuccino & expresso machine. They were able to make my cappuccino in the kitchen with lactose-free milk!!
Very nice of them.

Management, front desk, breakfast staff & housekeeping were all very friendly. Bartolommeo from the front desk was always very helpful & tended the bar as well!

The hotel provides a shuttle to take you to the Vieste center (or you could walk about 2kms) and to the beach. The beach is very close however: just 300 meters-a nice 5 mins walk. The hotel owns the restaurant at the beach which is part of a nice & ample resort-like which manages the umbrellas & lounges, bar & various relaxing areas with games & other entertainment for everyone in the family. This "resort-like" has bamboo furniture all over, making it different than the regular plastic chairs you will find in other "stabilimento di mare".
My only a bit negative comment is about the servers at the restaurant who were not very friendly: they seemed busy & not too interested: they were efficient though.

I highly recommend this hotel as it is close to the city center but far enough to enjoy of great & peaceful accommodations. It is also a perfect location to explore the entire Gargano region.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. 4 stars, the beach is 10 minutes walk from the hotel and you have right to use the private beach+2 beach beds per room. The hotel offers buffet breakfast and has a small bar. The breakfast is ok but could be improved offering fried eggs for example and natural fruit juices. Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Receptionist don't speak fluent English but are very helpful! Be patient because south Italy is like this. :) The hotel has a shuttle bus service that takes you to the center of the city and back at fixed times. The center of Vieste is ca. 4 km in car from the hotel. The hotel has no pool but space enough up build one.

I stayed in Hotel Sciali in Vieste, Italy in june 2015. It was an amazing experience and I really enjoyed my stay!

I highly recommend it for all kinds of tourists, from couples to families travelling with children.

The high points are: the large and complete breakfast buffet, the attention provided by the staff of the hotel, the location, close to the beach, the comfort of the hotel and the shuttle service to take you to the city center without needing to worry about parking and being able to enjoy a perfect italian wine for dinner!

In my point of view the only thing missing to the hotel is a swimming pool.
