Our group went to lunch on the trabucco. You walk out over the Adriatic on a raised walk. The restaurant nets up fresh seafood and serves what they catch. I had a wonderful octopus salad for a starter. A large bowl of seafood was brought to the table with an amazing broth. Local wine was served along with terrific bread. What a remarkable experience.

This place is situated in the middle of the sea! There is no a fix menu, but a surprise menu based on fresh fish of the day! Just delicious! The place is great for adults, for kids there is not enough space if they want to have a walk...

There is a church there where a thorn from the crown of Jesus rests in a vessel. It is one of only a few in Italy. Beautiful beach and the gorgeous Adriatic Sea.

Brilliant! Having grown up in a fishing town, I thought I might be hard to please, but the trobocco was incredible! We had a marvelous day catching fish and cooking and eating it, drinking wine with the proprietors, and learning about this fascinating culture.

2  Thank tresah
