We arrived at 7, not realizing they opened at 7:30. John was in the restaurant and welcomed us in anyway. He was pleasant and chatty. We quickly caught on that he was the owner and chef. He was quite humble about his food and restaurant but definitely had a local clientele. He greeted them personally and knew what they wanted. He stopped by every table to greet all of his guests.
In speaking with him, he has very high standards for his fish, meat and vegetables which is quite evident in the meal. He recommended the sea bass and the beef. It was one of the best meals I have eaten. His beef and pear appetizer was delicious. We finished with Tiramisu that was to die for. I can not recommend highly enough!!
