I've been to countless agriturismi over the past 30+ years and arriving here was a huge surprise. I came with a group of friends and we occupied 3 of the 5 tastefully furnished stone cottages, thanks to the recommendation of a friend from Spoleto. The landscaping and care of the property is spectacular. There are countless spots to sit in sun or shade, alcoves, patios, arbors, poolside -- to savor the peace and beauty of the Umbrian hills. The two caretakers, Nico and his wife Lica are the definition of kindness and hospitality. Once you zig and zag back down to the Flaminia road, the rest of Umbria is easily accessible. I will be back!

Don't go on looking for a vacation rental in south Umbria - this is the place !
We've spent a dream one week vacation in Borgo Acquaiura. We were 2 couples and stayed in Torretta. The interior design is warm and rustic but also functional and very comfotable. The outdoor areas are superb with a generous private garden including 2 dinning areas with marvelous views where we had enjoyed having our meals or just a glass of wine. The shared pool is nearby, refreshing after a touring day. Beside all is the wonderful location, 750 meters hilltop but just 10 minutes drive from picturesque Spoleto.
And above all the warm and generous hospitality by Nicu and Lica the keepers of the estate and Vito the owner whom we did not have the chance to meet (was not in Acquaiura) but helped us a lot by e-mails with all our questions and requests being answered by him patiently and promptly.
We would not have find a better place for a vacation in this area of Umbria and definitely would like to stay here again !

My brother performed in the Festival in Spoleto many years ago. He wanted all of us, his siblings, to experience Spoleto. We turned it into a big family vacation for 20 family members and chose to stay at the Borga Acquaiura because of the size of our group. It was a wonderful choice. The accommodations were clean, well appointed, and comfortable. There was room enough for everyone to have their own space while offering enough common areas for everyone to gather. Both the owner and the on sight manager were wonderfully helpful and friendly. We had a marvelous time in a perfect Umbrian setting that was close to everything and yet intimate enough for our family to enjoy our shared time together. Our wonderful memories will be with us forever.

Room Tip: Gather your friends and family and rent the whole place!

Beautiful place, friendly atmosphere... Italy at its best. We had a great family vacation and the Borgo has an excellent location to explore the beautiful towns and countryside around.
Everything was just as we expected for a first class holiday in Umbria.

A beautiful place with hepful persons in reservation and on arrival and during your stay. You can find everything you need for a good relax and exploring the "other face" of Umbria: paysage, mountans, but also culture in the neighbouring small towns and villages.

Room Tip: Calm, beautiful, good to explore the nature and towns as well.
