We stayed at the Castelli to celebrate our wedding in September. The hotel is beautiful with a lovely old world feel which makes you think that it hasn’t changed over time. The staff went out of their way to make our stay fantastic, with a special thank you to Chiara who went out of her way to co ordinate rooms for all our guests and ensure everyone was happy. They gave us a feee room upgrade and lots of little extras. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to visit next year.

On the upper part of the peninsula south of the city, in a large park above cliffs. Free outdoor parking.

We spend several nights in a suite with a terrace offering some views between trees. Large rooms, with a recently renovated bathrooms. Minibar. Toiletries provided.

There was a wedding party on the Saturday night and the hotel was quite busy. Quaint the other nights.

Large park. Decoration with many original paintings and sculptures. Large suite. English speaking receptionists. Elevator to the harbour. Large bed with hard mattress. View from the restaurant.

No welcome drink. No wifi in the room nor in the restaurant. The wifi in the reception area worked only sporadically, then was completely out of service. Unmaintained park (do not leave children unattended). Swimming pool and private beach closed for the season, instead, as the weather was still warm, we went to the public beach. ‘Air freshener’ covers the smoke smell. Restaurant serve only fish and seafood. No bathrobe. Antique elevator. Even breakfast was up to 11am, at 9:30 the tables with a view were set for lunch and not to be used.

We stayed in Grand Hotel Dei Castelli for 3 days. The hotel has a huge territory with a big garden and hotel's own beach. Reception personel is friendly and nice.

Breakfast had a good variety of food , but every time we ordered coffee we had to wait very long until the waiter would finally bring it (with different waitrs). The same with a cleaning of the tables.

Also personally for me i didn't like the room design at all.. Bare walls with old and simple furniture.. i feeled like in monastery room. i expected more renewed and classy rooms from the hotel for such price. But some of my friend liked this type of room desing.

However this hotel is a good place to stay with kids or for elder peple..

Extremely charming hotel, great welcoming staff and room staff; huge bedrooms and huge bathrooms; ancient pieces of fine furniture; everything spotless clean. The historical buildings are actually castles.

With an elevator (this could be better indicated in the big property) you can reach the "Piscine" which is a sea water natural creek with beach furniture and little terraces incrusted between the rocks, most amazing location ever seen! The place is apparently a popular discotheque during the weekend.

Another elevator brings the hotel guests to Sestri Levante, 5 min. walking distance from all the shops and restaurants.

On the top of the promontory is the Guglielmo Marconi's Tower unluckily not open to the public.

The hotel is set in an amazing park on top of a small hill overlooking Sestri Levante. We stayed in the modern building in beautiful room overlooking the sea and the town. The room was very spacious and had a third bed for our daughter and a beautiful small balcony with chairs to enjoy the view. We really took advantage of the park, the walk around the hill in the scented meditteranean flora. Breakfast was beautiful overlooking the other side of the town and the other beach. We also had drinks and snacks on the terrace which were excellent. The atmosphere of the castle and the hotel are quite special and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We were there just a bit too early in the season to try the private beach/swimming pool but it looked spectacular.
Overall an exceptional place very peaceful in a rather bustling and busy Sestri.
