It was our second skiing holiday in this fantastic hotel. Everything was great - room, food , personnel. Location is perfect - very close to Ponte Gardena station. Absolutely nothing to complain , and would love to come again!

Great location with the ski slopes just out of the hotel and the sun shining the whole day there. Main asset of the hotel is the SPA. It is new and well designed. Rooms are pretty wide and comfortable. Food is good. A special mention to the friendly and efficient staff.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms facing the Sasslong for the best wake up experience

After skiing many times at different resorts in France ( Serre Chevallier, Courchavel, Alpe d uses ) we decided to ski in Italy , at Val Gardena. And I think we will never return to France for skiing after this holiday! Location - very easy to get from Bolzano, ski slopes - wonderful! But main treasure - people , everyone is very friendly and all ( from taxi driver to ski lift person) speaks great English. And smiles, and tries to help ( not the case in France or Switzerland)
Hotel is fantastic- ski in ski out , very large rooms, excellent swimming pool and sauna(nude), very clean and well kept, food s gorgeous!! And you get way better deal for your money than in France if you count everything - food, ski rent and passes! Already dreaming for next trp!

Perfect location on the ski slopes no waiting to leave in the morning for skiing
in house ski school fantastic for children
Very special is the very friendly and helpful staff at the reception No extra wish is a problem really fantastic The new spa with pool is beautiful. Dinner is very nice with a big buffet to start off and breakfast buffet is excellent too.The room we had was spacious and well conceived with a very nice view on the mountains. It is an isolated location so if you want night life it would not be the place to choose.Santa Cristina is 2 km away and Ortisei a charming town is only 6 km away Of course it is convenient to have a car to drive down to the valley
The only suggestions I would have is to start dinner earlier and try to get Internet working quicklier The hotel management told us they try to get better Internet access in the whole valley and in the meantime they let us use their office Internet The whole management is very helpful

Room Tip: Choose a room with view on Sassolungo Mountain

We have just returned from a week at Monte Pana. The hotel looks somewhat unappealing from the pictures (big wooden block) but inside it is lovely and full of the character of the area. The service is fabulous, the rooms well thought out, spacious, with lots of places to put your cumbersome ski gear, and little touches throughout out the hotel, like automatic opening doors to the boot and ski room...a real bonus at the end of the day!! It also has a wonderful pool and a beautiful spa and steam room complex - all very elegant, and full of options for relaxation. You ski in and ski out from the hotel and Monte Pana is quiet when lots of the other areas of Val Gardena are busy - you ski straight on to the lift which takes you from the hotel and connects you with the rest of the region. The food at the hotel is excellent - particularly at dinner. Lunches were fine...nothing great but OK. The only negative I can think of is that if you want to go anywhere outside connecting lift operating hours and you don't have a car you are up for an expensive trip. Lifts down to the town of Santa Christina stop at 5 or 530 so you need to book a 20 Euro cab fare to go 5 mins down the hill or walk..ok going down but hard coming back up. The hotel is completely on its own so there are no other eating options around. But as long as you are aware of that, and don't want to go out after hours, this is a wonderful base for a holiday in the gorgeous Dolomites.

Room Tip: The pillows are very hard in the rooms as are the mattresses.
