“Bellissima!”
Reviewed 27 October 2011

We spent a week at this lovely hotel and were thoroughly satisfied with everything. The staff were very helpful and the room was huge. We had a sea view room with a small balcony & it was gorgeous to watch the ocean & sunrise or enjoy a drink watching the world go by. The breakfast room was very nice & the variety of foods provided was quite extensive.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room

We stayed three nights in a two room apartment (2 adults and 3 children of 8,6 and 3). It was fairly big and the ceiling was very high, which gives a sense of volume. The furniture is old, but everything was clean. We had a small balcony and view of the casino on one side, and the sea on the other side.

The hotel is very well situated, it is as near the beach as it is near the city.

Staff was friendly and the food in the restaurant delicious.

This hotel is an elegant lady from an earlier era. Located across the street from the beach at the beginning of the downtown shops and stores. The hotel was retrofitted some years back and may not have all of the modern features - but it has all of the comforts you need and it's kind of "cool" in a way.
Staff here are outstanding! Friendly and helpful. Meals are a treat!
Rooms are somewhat "plain" but comfortable. Housekeeping staff are excellent. Leave a tip for them (2 euros/night) at the start of your stay and they'll bend over backwards to keep you happy - and treat you like family.
The place still has an old, 3-person elevator. It's safe to use - but in a crowd it's faster to take the stairs.
This may not be the fanciest hotel in San Remo - but I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Full disclosure--I am not a huge fan of San Remo. The hotel is pretty enough from the outside and in the lobby, but our room was dated, contained very little furniture and the bathroom had seen better days. With that said, the room was very large for a European hotel and would be great for a family that needed to add a rollaway bed. Breakfast was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. If you're interested in the casino, it is directly across the street.

the hotel is very well located. the beach is just across the road. there is a free beach and it is not very good, it is small. and there is a paid beach next to it and it is much better and bigger and more convenient to swim. the shops and all sights are pleasant short walkig distanse. breakfast is good, not sophisticated but they serve all you need for breakfast. the personnel is very attentive and helpful. if you need parking, tell the reception. they will give you a special card to park your car across the road. it is 9 euros per day and it is cheap for Sanremo. I recommend this hotel to stay in beautiful Sanremo.
