We stayed on an unexpected visit to this hotel in Saluzzo. We only stayed for two nights but we ate at the hotel on both nights. The hotel is very central - a little difficult to find, but which is ideally located. The owners are a welcoming family, with the son speaking excellent English. There is wifi at the hotel, but a little sporadic. We had to use the wifi in the reception area as we did not get any reception in our room.
The room was simply furnished but very very clean and cosy. Breakfast was the usual sweet affair you get in Italy, with fresh tea and coffee and a limited selection of cheese and meat and fresh bread.
The food, i.e. lunch and dinner seems to be quite a grand affair. We did not eat lunch, but the dinner menu was excellent. It cost 15 Euros for two courses per person. The owner's son was extremely helpful with translating the menu which is written on a blackboard. The wines he selected were truly excellent. Costing about £15 a bottle. At that cost in the UK you rarely get an excellent bottle - which this was! You could, of course, get house wine already opened and presented in a jug.
I would definitely stay here again when I am in Saluzzo next.More
