My wife and I have had the opportunity of spending two vacations at the Belvedere in Riccione in 2010 and 2011. On both occasions we stayed at the hotel for two weeks. I am a cyclist while my wife is not so we can comment on the experience of those who ride as well as partners who don't. The first thing that impressed us was the hotel building and grounds themselves - they are beautiful. The pool area and deck in the front of the hotel are lovely. The hotel itself has an elegant and contemporary design. All the lines and colours in the foyer, dining room and bar area are clean and sleek. We stayed in one of the "glamour" rooms during both trips - the modern finishes were evident in the rooms themselves. The whirlpool on the main floor is great for sore cycling muscles. The spa in the basement of the hotel is excellent with a steam room, a mineral bath, and other amenities.

The service at the hotel is impeccable. Every single member of the staff, from the front desk staff, to the waiters and waitresses, the cleaning staff and the cycling support staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. The wait staff in particular were engaging, interactive and fun. The hotel goes out of it's way to provide entertainment for it's guests - including a pool party night, a paella night, wine tasting, etc. etc. etc. The cycling guides were excellent with daily rides and routes for every level of cyclist. There is a mechanic on-site for any equipment issue that might arise. The hotel goes out of its way to provide a program for non-cyclists including trips into Rimini and to San Marino, among many other activities. There is even a BBQ held at Marina, the owner's summer home that offers wonderful food, and spectactular views of the hills in the area.

The food is spectacularly good at the hotel with healthy variations on the classic Italian meal: antipasto, primo, secundo and dolce. 2011 was my fifth cycling vacation to Italy. At the previous hotels that our group stayed at, we would frequently go out for dinner - that never happened once at Belvedere - the food was so good, why go out?

I can honestly say that the Belvedere is one of the best hotels I have ever encountered. Marina and her staff make guests feel like one of the family. We have already put a hold on our room for May 2012! Book soon because we Canadians are going to take over the place.

Try the Belvedere, you won't be disappointed.

This was our 2nd visit back to Belvedere and once again it was amazing!!

there is nothing i can fault this hotel for. The food is amazing, the hotel and rooms are lovely and clean at all times.

The staff cannot do enough for you and Marina is just the lovelest person your ever meet, and will do what she can to make your trip the best ever!

All the cycling tour guides are lovely and even if you are not a keen cyclist they make you feel very welcome and help you if you need it!

Oh and the spa is something else!!

We are already planning our next trip!

Clean, friendly and the Italian food variety...incredible...and plentiful. When you bike for 5-6 hours each day you can afford to eat the cheese, pasta, cured meats and deserts and maybe still lose a pound or two. The spa is really inviting after a long, hilly ride.

I will say that the wide angle camera perspective of the rooms is a little deceptive; they're small.

I hope to return next year!

The Belvedere has to be the premier bike hotel in Italy. The rooms are well laid out , very comfortable, stylish and impeccably serviced. The range and quality of food available at breakfast lunch and dinner is wonderful. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly , nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The cycling tours are designed to cater for a wide variety of skills, experience and fitness. As well as being very competent, the guides are all great characters and are skilled in making each ride a memorable experience. Great exercise, great fun! The wellness centre is magnificent and provides great facilities for post ride relaxation. There is a great "family feeling" about returning to the Belvedere, the proof of this being apparent by the number of guests who return year after year. My partner and I have now been there 7 times and will certainly be back next year. The whole Belvedere ethos of personalised treatment and continuous improvement is driven by the owners Marina and Romeo, who are very much hands-on in the daily running of the hotel and ensure that standards don't slip. I look forward to my next Belvedere experience. Wayne, Cardiff.

Stayed for 4 nights, to ride locally and also do the nove Colli. Absolutely great set -up, riding is great quality, hotel facilities are superb and the food is great. But the thing by far the best is the staff and the atmosphere, was so much fun to spend time with them, they all seem to love their jobs and love having guests to stay. I can see why people go back year after year, I will be doing the same!
