Before always stayed in Rimini at the Grand Hotel but because they had a conference tried Riccioni instead.
A much more buzzy town even at this time of year and the hotel is perfect.
Small, right on the beach with a family owned feel. Excellent breakfast, decent bar and a terrace for drinks overlooking the beach.
AND amazing value.

Nice hotel with the tendency to earn more with renting a parkingspace for 20,- per day or use of beachbeds 28,- per day.
Its not the way i would suggest client-kindness.
The staff all speak just Italian. And the soundproof rooms are in no way better than regular rooms.

There are big choice of the hotels in Riccione with the same location. I can't say that this hotel is the exceptional. It looks like many others. Simple Italian breakfast, next to the seaside and promenade. Room was quite small. Do not choose the room at the first floor. At night, they move the walls at the restaurant and the feeling that somebody is moving furniture in your small room.

the swimming pool is a scam. says it is included but it is not!! you have to pay and it is off site on the beach - it does not belong to the hotel! When confronted with this, the front desk did not even apologize for the scam.
the rooms are tiny and even with a superior/deluxe you get to have no view nor a balcony.
parking is off site, in an underground public garage, and it is extremely expensive.
there is only 1 elevator, it is old, slow and unreliable, and people (including the bell boy with luggages) take the stairs.
it is unfortunate because the decor is nice and the position is also pretty good.
the only positive note is that the breakfast is amazing, with nutella crepes even. but we felt jaded by the many hidden flaws that made the stay unpleasant - adding more than 60 euros to the cost of the room and not by choice.

I spent some days here with my family and we felt good every time. Staff is very nice and friendly with kids. It's an elegant hotel and perfect for business but it's wonderful for couples and families too. It has an awesome private beach included in the price. The hotel has also a restaurant on the top floor: the view it's beautiful! The hotel is close to the beach of course and also to the city center. I suggest it!
