Hotel Posta lives up to it's website description! The hotel is just lovely; clean, quiet, and has wonderful ammenities including on-site, enclosed parking. The staff are warm and helpful. We would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the region.

Great hotel right in the center of town! Breakfast is provided each morning and you can request lattes till you're blue in the face! Ask for one of the rooms overlooking the square and you can watch the auto tour race from your window as I did in May or just people watch. Ask about the balsamic vinegar tour and dinner. The same family owns both the hotel and the balsamic vinegar restaurant. Would recommend to anyone who loves old world charm!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking square provide opportunity for people watching and via Emilia

We rolled into town without a reservation and stumbled across this gem, right in the heart of downtown.

It's a really nice hotel, and to boot, very reasonably priced. The rooms are huge, and it had one of the nicest showers we experienced on our 2-week Italy tour.

Would totally recommend it to anyone traveling through Reggio Emilia! Two thumbs up!

Room Tip: Great value!

We loved our stay at Hotel Posta. The location was perfect. The amazing staff helped us arrange all kinds of tours and reservations, perfect! The room was large and clean. We have no complaints.

A 4 Star hotel? Hardly. In reality, this is barely a 3-star lodging that is admittedly in a beautiful, historic and well-located building, but which is tired and badly in need of significant furnishings upgrading. The staff is unhelpful to the point of surliness (unless they are trying to shill for their sister property called Cavazzone), the rooms are tired and threadbare (albeit clean), and the so-called breakfast buffet features mediocre food and coffee and fruit that was browning from exposure to the air. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel that actually merits its 4-star rating and avoid this property like the plague.
