“Amazing hotel...but expensive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 September 2012

This is the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in...and our pocket sure did know that too.....it was a stunning location....wonderful staff....and sheer luxury at every turn....this was for our honeymoon and it was the reason we decided to spend the last three nights there. I hope we will return at sme point for an anniversary but feel it may not be for a few years just due to the cost.
But if money is no object I couldn't recommend it enough.
The staff were exceptional and remembered fine details like which drink you ordered the previous evening and were friendly as well as being exquisite at their jobs.
The semilLior was lovely....a well knowledges yet approachable expert..hope to see you all again sooner rather than later :-)
Ravello itself is a beautiful place with tons of history and Italian culture and style in abundance.

Room Tip: A sea view room is a must with views like this hotel can offer.

Probably one of the best positions in Ravello. We arrived with high hopes, having read positive reviews on Tripadvisor. All expections were exceeded and to top it all we were upgraded to a suite. The views were stunning from our terrace and especially from the pool area. Welcoming and helpful staff, immaculate housekeeping and the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. The free shuttle to Amalfi and Positano made the trip.

Room Tip: A view of the coast is a must

Fourth stay in six years. The view and the service at the pool and Restarant were great. The service at the front desk and others were not up to past trips and we had various frustrations throughout. When paying for this kind of service, I don't mind, as long as the property is up for it. This time it was not. Check out your room and location before you officially check in. Some can be very noisy, especially room number 62.

This hotel is pricey, but the views are impeccable and the infinity pool is out of this world. Spend a day just hanging over the edge of the Amalfi coast sipping on cocktails. Even if you are not staying at this hotel, it's a must see! If you're driving the coast, tell your driver to stop. The view cannot be matched and a young, fun atmosphere.

I am surprised by the overwhelming positive comments on Hotel Caruso. I find this hotel to be really disappointing and over rated. Yes it has an incredible view however at £600 a night the hotel is grossly overpriced. The food in the restaurant is average, the service pretentious and the rooms (unless you pay £1000 a night for the suites with spectacular views) are very much average. A real disappointment.
