“Perfect Villa away from the crowds”

My family of 4 plus the grandparents all enjoyed our stay here. Franco the house manager was truely a great help. He coordinated our day trips, car transfers and even gave us a couple of rides into Minori.
Anna and her husband although not in the area during our stay were still very much attentive to our accomodations the entire time we spent there. The villa itself was very clean and comfortable. The AC worked very well in all the rooms making the nights sleep pleasant.
The view from the backyard was great. The backyard area was full of lemons and perfect tasting tomatoes that we ate our fair share of the entire time. The BBQ also worked really well so we would buy some ingredients along with meat and fish from the locals in town and make some delicious dinners (4 out of 6 nights).
The private accessibility to the sea from the villa was worth every step down. To be able to have access at anytime and not to have to pay for a chair on a crowded rocky beach alone is worth so much.
Thank you so much Anna & Franco!

Liked best: the villa was large enough to give everyone a little extra space and the backyard area with great views.
Liked least: the noise level on the ground floor was a bit noisy, our two kids slept there since they sleep like rocks.

What a view!

Overall out stay at ll Monaco was great, good rooms, fully equipped kitchen and the views are amazing. The walk down to the platform by the sea is not to far although quite a work out to get back up.

There is not much room inside for a big group to all sit together but even though it rained two days it was still warm so we could sit outside under the canopy.

The shower outside is fantastic but sadly the showers inside are pretty poor and neither one had much power.

We hired a car and that all worked well with the parking although we did walk the roads to get around the cost into the two closest towns which was fine (not a suitable walk for young children and there is no footpath and very close cars)

It would be helpful to have a folder at this villa with infomaiton on both the villa (where things are located inside and also what is about locally to do and see)

We could not find any replacement toilet roll and had to go and get some which is a bit annoying.

The person that met us to let us in was on the end of the phone for questions however and this was good.

The bedroom at the top floor is right next to the road and so can get noisy in the morning as the coaches hoot their horns around each corner on the roads. Heavy sleeps should take this room.

Overall a very good stay with lots to see around the cost and amazing outside areas at the villa.

“Great location and property”

Amazing coastal views, out of town, so an easy 15 minute walk up the hill from Minori. Only issue was that the property was advertised as Ravello, but it really is not...it's Minori.
Great location on the Amalfi Coast, can get a ferry to all other ports like Amalfi, Sorrento, etc.

A beautiful villa located on Amalfi Coast which is located a short walk from the quaint town of Minori, and a more challenging walk up 1,000 steps to the picturesque town of Ravello. You will be rewarded for walking the 1,000 steps as you will enjoy the panoramic views from Ravello. The villa is a short walk to a private beach. The villa is immaculate. Franco the caretaker is always available to assist if there is a problem and Franco will arrange private boat tours, recommend restaurants and organize taxi rides. You will spend most of your time on the patio off the kitchen which features a beautiful view of the Amalfi Coast - an absolute breathtaking view. There are also lower patios from which you can relax including one shaded by lemon trees. There are three bedrooms one and one-half baths and an outdoor shower (which we used daily). As other commenters have noted a drawback is that the bedroom on the top floor is at street level and the noise from the street.
We had no issues walking to Minori as the narrow road is comfortably shared by joggers, walkers, motorcycles, cars, vans and buses. It is quite a mix of modes of transportation, but somehow it works. We had no issues walking at night.

Helpful hint: you should take the boat tour of the Amalfi Coast. Also you should eat at the local restaurants in Minori. The food is good and the owners are happy to have tourists as customers.

A great location at a great value.

“Loved it”

Excellent week in an excellent villa.

Loved the frescoes in the main bedroom. Swimming platform fantastic, whilst shared with a few others we always had plenty of space on it and swimming in the very clear sea was wonderful. Aircon and WiFi efficient and appreciated (latter especially by teenage children).

Other review comments about front door onto main road and limitations for the very small or the elderly are correct but not a problem for us. Reversing the car out of the parking spot into the road an "exciting" challenge.... if you do rent a car make sure it is a small one. That said a car is not at all essential.

Easy walk to shops and restaurants in minori, albeit along busy road.

Franco very helpful in many ways in particular arranging a boat trip to Capri.

Highly recommended, hope to come back.
