We stumbled across this restaurant by chance on our first night in Pistoia and were extremely pleased that we did. In fact we came back again two nights later. The waiter was extremely friendly, whilst his wine recommendations (he's a sommelier) were all excellent. Particular mentions must go to the Asparagus flan and the steak tartare both of which were among the best dishes we had all holiday (and we went on to Florence and Rome). La Cantinetta offered us complimentary dessert wine on both visits which was a lovely touch. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Pistoia.
