The host and hostess were very welcoming and not only spoke good English but were very happy to help if you wanted to learn the proper pronunciation and usage of some Italian words. Breakfast was very nice each morning with fresh eggs cooked by Roberto as well as an assortment of cheese, meat, bread and pastries. The breakfast room and kitchen were open at all hours if you wanted to eat takeout at the table or make coffee or tea. The refrigerator was available to store food. It was easy to park and we used the place to take drives to other towns in Umbria. From this place it is possible to walk up the hill and then take the escalator or elevator into Orvieto. You might prefer to drive your car to the parking area since part of the walk is steep, crosses an olive orchard, and can be slippery when wet. There are grape vines and other fruit trees on the property and it is very peaceful.More
