I can say enough good things about this wonderful B & B. Selita is such a warm, gracious woman and she truly made our 4 night stay there memorable. The B &B is right next to her home, but she and her family were never intrusive. We enjoyed talking to her at breakfast (which was wonderful!) and learning about the area and restaurant recommendations. It's a short but somewhat steep walk through their olive groves (ask to taste and maybe buy some of their olive oil!) to Orvieto, which is a charming, charming town. It was great, however, to stay outside of town in this serene location. Parking in Orvieto can, I think be a bit of a nightmare so it was wonderful to have easy parking at Casa Selita. Highly recommend this B & B.

Room tip: All rooms are great.

Our stay at Casa Selita was wonderful! The rooms were nice and the gardens were lovely, lot of olive trees. Lounge chairs for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine. What made this B&B special for us was our delightful hostess, Selita. I would definitely recommend this B&B. And for cat lovers, friendly cats too!

I can not say enough about our stay, even though unfortunately, it was only one night. We were welcomed warmly, shown our room and provided with some area information and told about the path and elevator/escalator short cut. The room looked like it had an AC unit but we did not use it, we only needed the fan. Our stay was quiet, I could see about four other rooms and we shared a large common area but everything was very nice, comfortable beds, hot water etc. Breakfast was at 8:30 and there were several choices including homemade bread and frittata and a beautiful olive oil made from the olives on the property. You can also purchase some directly from them. There is also a very friendly kitty that loves visitors. I wish we had been able to stay longer it's a very nice place to stay, we will definitely come back.

We decided to book Casa Selita after it received good recommendations from Rick Steves and from TripAdvisor. However, we have had a bad experience with them honoring our reservation.

We booked the Tower Room in May for our Honeymoon in September. We provided our VISA and they confirmed it. Two weeks later, I received an email saying they made a mistake and the Tower Room was booked. I thought that was a little odd, but we stuck with them and booked the Sunset room.

Two days ago (late August), I received an email stating they had to cancel my reservation in September due to family problems. This is obviously pretty disappointing, as the choices now, a few weeks away, are both more expensive and much more limited.

I am sure Casa Selita is lovely, but I did want to leave a review to let people know that in our specific experience, our reservation was not honored.

We love, love, loved staying at Selita's. She and Enzo were both wonderful hosts. The accommodations are very charming, the breakfast was fantastic, and the proximity to the Orvieto elevator can't be beat. In addition to wonderful dinner and shopping recommendations Selita was also able to help with suggestions on where to have a vow renewal ceremony in Orvieto. I couldn't be happier with our stay and hope to return with our family.
