My husband and I just returned from a three night stay at the Etruria resort and were extremely pleased with our choice. Our room had a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside. We reserved a classic/double room (smallest category) and were completely satisfied. The architectural details and finishes in the room were lovely (arched brick ceiling, designer paint finishes, and tile floor). We also had beautiful french doors opening to one of the patios on the hotel grounds overlooking the countryside. It was a perfect place to sit and enjoy the wine we purchased in town. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any of our requests, and the spa and spa treatments were superior. The walk to Montepulciano town center was about 15 minutes uphill, but it is quite manageable. We enjoyed cooling off at the end of the day in the beautiful pool with a terrific view of the town. We would love to return someday!
