We stayed at La Pievina towards the end of may. This is a small bed and breakfast type of place set amongst lovey natural beauty. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Free wifi is available. The only problem is that they did not inform us that there was no dinner facilities available so it was a bit of an unpleasant surprise to reach the place at 8 in the night after a very tiring drive and be told that we would have to go elsewhere for dinner.

Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is quite substantial. Once you know that there is no dinner on offer and carry some with yourself, then everything else is fine

Room Tip: Rooms at the back offer great views

My wife and I we spent few days at The Pievina over Christmas Holidays.
We booked the 2 bedroom apartment because we knew that someone (Brother/Sister in law) would have join us.

The appartement is amazing (it's actually a small house with private garden -it must be incredible during summer-), both rooms are very big and everything (rooms and also kitchenware) was perfectly clean.

The owner is extremely nice and helpful

ABSOLUTELY LOVED this place!!! First of all... after a roadtrip through the whole northern Italy... Montepulciano is our #1 place to visit in Italy! It is AMAZING... like being in a book! And then... finding a WONDERFUL place to stay like La Pievina was like a dream! The owner and son were sooo kind, helpful and made our stay just perfect! The room left us speechless!!! It was sooo beautiful, quite and with an amazing view to mountains and vineyards!! Breakfast was basic but DELICIOUS and with choices for every taste! It was just unbelievably perfect! We are toooootally going back here!

Room Tip: All are perfect!

My wife and I stayed here in the beginning of May 2015, the location is amazing, beautiful surroundings, just what you picture Tuscany to be. The place is impeccably clean, service is amazing, the hostess is absolutely wonderful. You must try her home made pastries and jams. Everything was wonderful. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here. (BTW. some sites say there is no internet, that is incorrect, there is wifi available in the house.)

This place is wonderful. It is quiet and relaxing. The breakfast consists of mostly cakes but we made our own eggs in the kitchen. We brought back food for dinner so the kitchen was used by us a lot. It was very convenient that there was a refrigerator to use too. The views are spectacular of the countryside. There are long stem rose shrubs that are 5 ft tall! The rooms are comfortable too. The only negative I can say is that the wifi did not work there. The owner was very nice and helpful but she did not speak english. Her son does a little but he was not there most of the time. Their homemade wine is delicious so make sure you ask for some.
