Booked two rooms at this hotel one superior room with balcony and one very small double room which was just adequate for one person but the cost of over 80 euro's per night for the very small double was a bit on the expensive side. Could not fault the Superior room and balcony although the jacuzzi bath was a little dated and we were not shown how to use it! Was disappointed that the balconies do not have dividing screens so its all open plan and no privacy at all. Get a higher floor for views over the sea - we were on the 4th floor and had great views of the sea and the coastline. There is a major downside to this hotel which is it would seem that most of the time (whilst we were there anyway) groups with their families holiday there for a few days at a time and they are put in rooms on the same floor which meant that every morning they are pressing the bells on their various relatives rooms form 6.45 in a morning and banging doors, having the TV on the loudest setting etc so never did manage to get a decent nights sleep here. Spoke to another English couple in the lift one morning whjo said they were considering checking out early as they could not sleep because of the noise from the other guests. The staff on the front desk were most unhelpful - you had to wait ages for them to come over to you and then if an italian family came to check in they would leave you, go and sort out the other family and then if you were lucky they would come back to you! I can say the member of staff who showed us to our room was very cheerful and friendly and also the breakfast staff were very pleasant and helpful. oh and if you need a taxi to the airport when you leave book it direct yourself with the taxi driver opposite the hotel he charges 100 euro's - if you ask the hotel to book it for you they will add an extra 30 euros for their trouble and charge you 130 euro's ! Amalfi Coast is beautiful and I will definitely be visiting again in the future but will not be staying at this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor to get the best views

Antonio and Marco are super attentive and always happy to serve. From setting up the chairs and umbrellas to drinks and food. They really helped make our stay in Maori memorable. In addition you do not need to be staying at the hotel to rent an umbrella and chairs for the day with hot shower and toilet facilities.

The hotel is right in the heart of the town next to the beach and the (only) main street, where all the restaurants are. The pool area with the lemon garden is wonderful place to spend hot days. The beach is just across the street. The staff is friendly and warm.

Excellent hotel, fabolous location. Great mediterranean food served in one of the most elegant gardens of the Amalfi Coast. And how to forget the wonderful Ena and her assistants Franco, Carmine, Agostino... All these people made my vacation so special. Grazie mille!

Our first trip to Amalfi Coast and it was breathtaking. We just returned home last night! Enjoyed Regina Palace, the location was excellent, the staff was quite friendly and for the most part helpful. (Sometimes language was a problem) But we all managed. The breakfast was great, the wait staff a delight. Everything we needed in Maiori was within walking distance and they had valet parking. The rooms were very nice, especially the view of the sea! Maybe it can use a little updating, better pillows and put the shower head on the other wall. All in all we had a great time and I would recommend this hotel!
