A great place to be right in the centre of the action. A short stole to all the attractions. The hotel is good and our room was at the front with a balcony. I can get noisy late at night but shut the windows and put on the aircon! Parking service was essential as right in the historic centre and do not rely on the address and your sat-nav! Great service from reception and breakfast on the roof terrace.

Room tip: If you want it alittle less noisy a room at the back

Slightly mixed feelings. The location is great and we slept very well, which are the most important things. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious although all the door knobs seemed to be falling off. The breakfast was ok, nothing special but ok. Coffee was good (not instant, like someone wrote here before, at least the cappucciono was fine).
I rated it 4/5 since we really had nothing to complain about but general maintenance could be improved.

The central location is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby nicely appointed. The rooms, on the other hand, were over-designed and not at all practical. Lots of frilly pillows, but no place to put them at night. Virtually no storage space. Even the 3-person, 2-level premium suites have no place to store an empty suitcase. Main level rooms have windows that are far overhead and inaccessible.Doors re difficult to open. We returned for an extra night and were put in Room 207, essentially a matchbox. There is no room to open a second suitcase (Stay away from all "x07" rooms. Parking is extra, and takes about 15-30 minutes to access a car.

Room tip: Stay away from any of the 07 rooms

No point heading here despite the appearance of the hotel. Definitely unwelcoming staff and don’t even try to have coffee here if you don’t have a room! Pointless to be in tourism industry. Why have a hotel?!

I stayed here recently (Sept, 2017) and had a beautiful, large room with great windows on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately, one wooden window cover was falling off its hinges. The bathroom had a new shower but very tired improvements from the 1970s. The people who worked there were helpful but not at all enthusiastic about service. The coffee served at breakfast was instant albeit presented as a "cappuccino"--I watched the wait staff make it. It tasted like instant coffee. The furniture was old and tired and not particularly charming in any way. I loved Lecce, but was disappointed with this hotel. Also, some friends who were fellow travelers had rooms without windows, not totally surprising in old hotels in Italy.

Room tip: Request a room on the 2nd floor with windows
