When travelling by car make sure you booked the parking with the hotel, Access by car is a bit tricky and parking space is limited, but the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful to find a solution. We just handed him over the carkeys and he moved the car around until he finally managed to squeeze it somewhere on the hotel ground.
Rooms are reasonably sized, those with a balcony allow you to catch a glimpse of the Mediterranean (and to smoke, as there are is a table with an ashtray and a couple of chairs).
Bed was comfortable, bathroom quite big, everything clean and tidy. Plugs are Italian style (with three holes) but you can use them for the phone charging cable. If you want to connect other devices you may need an adaptor. Only drawback is that the walls are a bit tiny and you may hear your neighbour snoring.

The location of the hotel couldn’t be better: just a few stairs climbing away from the historic town centre with the church. Heading towards the opposite direction you reach the harbour area after a short walk (without stairs). Here you find several restaurants, some ice cream parlours and you can go for a swim.

Breakfast was buffet style, some ham and cheese, yoghourts, juices, and an especial mention for the homemade cakes, at least three different ones and all of them very tasty.

It was a very pleasant stay, very friendly staff.
One story: We left some things in the room and went to the next town on our bike trip. They were delivered to our next town not far from Imperia. As we realized later, it was not post or courier service, but some private person, likely the staff.

We stayed four nights at this fabulous hotel. The room was great and absolutely spotless every day. The family that runs this hotel is wonderfull. These people know the meaning of service and friendliness. The breakfast is delicious with fresh eggs to your liking, each morning . The hotel is situated just above sealevel, so we had a fantastic view. Within three minutes walking, you are in the small town and at the beach. We enjoyed our stay and if we ever go back to the Linguire, we would certenly go back to Ariston.

Room Tip: Ask for a room viewing the beach, second floor.

The hotel is relatively simple but well located, very clean and has charming staff throughout. Breakfast is good. You can walk to the beaches or anywhere in the old city from the hotel, but they do also offer car parking which is a big plus. Imperia is a lesser known and smallish but beautiful city with an impressive hilly seaside location, and the hotel is a great base to explore the city and wonderful coastline.
