Clean small very friendly hotel in the Recanati area of Giardini Naxos....excellent evening meals served, ample supply of foods to suit all tastes at breakfast time too...pool area compact and quiet, rather difficult to get poolside drinks and snacks as the bar is in the hotel which meant leaving the pool area having first dried off and got appropriately dressed each time to make an order....room was ideal and bathroom modern....front facing rooms have a small balcony overlooking the main road and an apartment block building site complete with crane....look beyond though and you see the hills of taormina and Etna so each to their own in the greater where of things.....enjoyed trips to Etna,Syracuse and Panarea and Stromboli,so plenty to do....Recanatti beach is ideal to while the time away, standing in the sea staring at Mount Etna is one of life's little luxuries!.

Room tip: Rooms at the front overlook main road and a building site, rooms at the rear overlook the pool and residential apartment blocks

1st time to Sicilly & we all loved it & were especially glad that we picked this accommodation. The rooms were lovely with free air con (controlled by reception) and free safes with a great rainfall shower in the bathroom and ours had a nice view over the terrace and pool.As people have previously mentioned the staff are very friendly and reception really helpful when planning trips out of which we did several & were very easy as the bus station(more like a bus stop) was literally yards away.
The pool area is lovely with a very calm ambiance and always had beds available & the pool was the warmest that I've ever been in.
Breakfast was buffet style (7.30 till 10) with a good choice of items a few of which are of the cooked variety & the waiters brought tea, coffee etc to the table.
You can order your evening meal at breakfast or if you wish at dinner (7.30 till 9.30) and this was a choice of three starters, three mains and a dessert which are all cooked fresh and of a high standard with waiter service and served on the terrace where you are allocated a table (we were on half board)
The resort itself is quite small with not a lot there but a 15 minute walk brings you into the main resort of Naxos which is much bigger and livlier with a good beach.
As I said we had a great time here & would definitely recommend this hotel.

The service at Villa Daphne was exceptional, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a calm feeling, a lovely little pool area which was quite often very quiet when we visited. Our room was always clean, plenty of storage and a decent bathroom with a powerful shower. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, always a nice selection of fruit, pastries and breads but not a lot of cooked items. Good location, within walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants and bus stop (which takes you to the beautiful Taormina). Would definitely stay again.

My husband, 2 sons & I are enjoying our last day here at Villa Daphne & wish we could stay for longer. All of the other reviews are spot on, it is a wonderful hotel, location great, all of the staff are lovely, friendly & helpful. The breakfast & 3 course dinners are totally delicious & yummy. We definitely recommend the cocktails too, especially the Aperol Spritz! The hotel has a very relaxed, calm feel, is beautifully painted & the pool is great too. The location is fantastic, right by the bus station to everywhere, €3 return to Taormina, & moments from beaches, restaurants, bars & shops. We love it here & plan to return!!

Our first time in Sicily and we couldn't have chosen better accommodation. From arrival to departure the staff were brilliant. Professional yet friendly and attentive; Lorenzo leads a talented team - a credit to the hotel. The evening meals were varied and tasty will good options for every course. We have had the best time - thank you.
