Superb location, only a few meters away from a beach, small supermarket and a bus-station. Spacious and clean room. The breakfast was very simple, but as expected when you take the price in considerstion.

The grounds and pool area to this hotel are lovely, however some of the sun loungers need replacing. The entrance, stairways and dining areas are very pleasant, but the room was spacious but dreary. Bathrooms are in need of an update, the soap and toilet paper dispensers reminding me of being in my local pub. Half of the shower screen was missing, which we reported and judging by the expression of the receptionists face, they were already away of this. So the floor got soaked and we were given an extra bathmat. Towels were supposed to be changed every 3 day but weren't and not much in the way of cleaning done. Room had a safe, hairdryer and fridge, which you were supposed to pay 10 euros if using your own purchases but as the room was on a electricity card this keep going off. Balcony had a view of Mount Etna. Breakfast was fine, didn't sample any evening meals. Staff were friendly but a couple of the reception staff need to 'buy a smile'! Easy to get to from the airport. Turn right outside the terminal to the end of the building and the ticket office for Etna Trasporti is just round the corner, take about 1 hour and costs 7.50 euro and hotel is 10 minute walk from bust stop. Hop on Hop Off costs 13 euro and you can use the red and blue buses. Took this to Letojanno and changed buses to get to the village of Savoca. It also stops at the beautiful town of Taormina but you can also use the local bus which costs 3.00 euros. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and are reasonably valued. Bonday Beach is a 10 minute walk and the hotel will give you a voucher which costs 10 euros for the hire of 2 loungers and an umbrella (the sellers on the beach can be annoying). Sicily is a beautiful place and the people are friendly and helpful.

A nice small family hotel located in the tranquil part of Giardini Naxos, Recanati. It is about 300 m away from the beach, literally 5 minutes by walk. At the hotel you can buy a mobster coupon on the nearest Bonday beach at a price of 10 eur, although it is my recommendation to visit the neighboring beach of L 'Aurora Celeste which is special. Very close to the hotel, about 200m away is the main bus station which can serve as the starting base for the exploration of Sicily. It's a tip to hire a car for at least 2 days to get more and more ...
The rooms are spacious and neat, food at the hotel is satisfactory.
Very friendly staff and hotel owners, i must emphasized Gino who is a champion in kindness and hospitality ... :)
Apart from Taormina, which is the pearl of this coast and inevitable for visiting the recommendations for trips are: Etna, Catania, Syracuse, the village of Savoca and the inevitable baroque town of Noto!
A warm recommendation for those who want a peaceful holiday in beautiful Sicily for affordable money.

Hotel clean, bed comfortable, splendid view of Etna over roof tops from our bedroom. Friendly staff. Ensuite needed renovation but clean. Some distance to Giardini Naxos centre (estimate approx 1 Km?). Breakfast acceptable. Evening meal poor. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, so skip the evening meal even if part of a half-board package and you may like this hotel a lot. Nevertheless we actually enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Ask for view of Etna

This is a really great hotel! The staff could not be more helpful, welcoming and kind. We have a fabulous room which is cleaned to spotless every day. Big, glowing white towels, a fridge, a balcony with the most amazing sea views. It is a quiet spot with lots of birds singing but two minutes walk from bars, restaurants, supermarket and buses to everywhere! Lovely 10 min walk into town, 5 min stroll to beach. Bar very reasonable, breakfast good... What more could you want? PS Sicily is just amazing in the spring.

Room Tip: Mansard fabulous
