Lots to see and do. The lake is beautiful. Not for the party animals as most places close around 12. The only downfall was that the apartment did not have a balcony or terrace and when we asked to change no other available. The apartment looked tired and could do with some TLC. Also the complex is a canny way out from the town. Not a walk to be attempted in heels. There is a free shuttle bus which runs all day but ends at 10pm some nationalities refuse to understand the queinig system for the bus which became very frustrating. If you are having a night in beware the bar closes at 12. Up side views are fantastic the pool is superb being Olympic size.

Room tip: Request a balcony or terrace. If have mobility problems as for A Block as it is near reception where shuttle bus is.

We visited for a family holiday in August. All the reviews we read before coming were correct as we discovered when we got there.
Terrible breakfast. No fresh fruit, horrid looking eggs, thank goodness for the cake and croissants! The filter coffee was so strong and stewed. We didn't eat in the evening after reading the reviews on here and seeing what breakfast was like.
No cleaning of our apartment in 6 days.
Apartments need thoroughly modernising, very 80's and a funny smell from the whicker bedside table.
No clean towels even for a 6 day stay, but we could have had fresh ones at a cost of €32 for four. We laundered the room towels ourself for cheaper. Reception staff were rude when we went to discuss getting clean towels.
Food and drinks by the pool were ok.
Catching the minibus was always a stress so prepare yourself for rude people pushing in front of you. Getting back was worse, sometimes they would squeeze you in. Best to get a taxi back.
Pool was great, but dirty green water areas around it and under some sun beds.
Aqua gym and water polo were great activities.

Stayed here for my wedding and cant fault the place. We knew it was not near the lake but the shuttle bus was very handy with 3 kids! got busy some days but you just have to make sure no one pushes in. They will send another bus if required. The place looked clean and tidy. The swimming pool was big enough to suit everyones needs. The baby pool again was very handy for my 3 year old twins. The hotel staff were very handy however the apartment staff were quite abrupt and quiet. However; over this was a very nice place to stay. Cant comment on the hotel as did not stay there but the apartments are very good. Just ask about the bins and laundry that wasn't made very clear when we checked in.

Room tip: get the apartments with a view its stunning

The apartments were spacious and spotlessly clean with large terrace and stunning views of Lake Garda. Once we got used to the idea that there was no maid service and nothing provided in the apartment we found it really relaxing and peaceful with nobody bothering us to clean etc. We were just handed our keys and left to ourselves. We had one problem with the TV but it was dealt with efficiently. Luckily we had a car for the 2 weeks so were able to explore the beautiful area and only stayed in the complex a few times. The pool was huge and there were plenty of sun beds so there was no difficulty in getting one. Our one complaint was that there were no mattresses for the beds. The on-site shop was poor with little stock (not even fresh milk) so we bought all our provisions from local supermarkets. If you want a relaxing, peaceful holiday with basic but roomy accommodation then this is the place to stay. We would definitely return providing we had a car.

Room tip: Superior apartments extremely quiet, beautiful views and free airconditioning

Just home from 10 days self catering with friends in Poiano Apartments. We had a great holiday there. Apartment was a two bedroom which was spacious with a great view over the lake. The swimming pool was huge with lots of loungers so no problem sunbathing. We didn't have much reason to go to reception but when we did found staff very friendly and helpful. We used the shuttle bus quite a lot and had great fun with Maurizitamo ( correct spelling )? Lovely man with a hard job ferrying people back and forth all day long. There is one thing I would like to see and that is a point where there is a sign saying Please queue here for Shuttle as that would stop latecomers jumping on before people who were there before them which happened a lot causing lot's frustration. Love Lake Garda, lot's to see and do, ferries well organised and worth going on trips to see different parts of the lake. We travelled with Thompson Holidays and our rep at the resort was Josh, friendly, helpful with good advice and met us anytime we called him.👍 He's a keeper.

Room tip: If self catering ask for ground floor.
