Very good room with view of sea and the lovely sandy beach. The hotel is ideal for a relaxing holiday with pleasant helpful staff, and tasty food in the restaurant. The main town is an easy walk away and neighbouring Cattolica is in walking distance as well.

Sitting quite high above a beautiful sandy beach it was quite perfect for a weeks holiday in September. Blue skies every day, temperature around mid-twenties, very little wind to speak of and the good company of fellow guests. The hotel is split into units-the one pictured in photos is the main building containing reception, bar and lounge, small indoor pool, restaurant and some guest accommodation. Next door is another block containing further accommodation, a smaller dining area and overlooking an outside pool. The staff in reception and the restaurant were excellent and coped well with problems that only the Brits seem capable of creating! The town -a short walk away - is neat and tidy with some excellent quality shops.

Room tip: Opt for an up-graded room

The San Souci hotel is comfortable and friendly. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Also the food was scrumptious, such a varied choice.
The hotel is well situated, only a 10 minute gentle stroll into the centre of Gabbice Mare.
I highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely be visiting again.

We stayed here for a week in July. The rooms were lovely - great views. The food was excellent, as was the service in the restaurant. But the stand out feature of this hotel was the reception. The most friendly, helpful and welcoming team we've encountered. Couldn't do enough to help, especially Claudio, who went above and beyond to help with various tickets and local information. Thank you for a great stay.

Sans Souci means "no problems" and maybe that is the case when one stays here in the summer. But a business traveler on a cold and rainy winter night wants a warm, comfortable place to stay, and Sans Souci is NOT it. If a summer-oriented hotel doesn't have heating, or doesn't have adequate heating, it should either not open in the winter or it should offer space heaters as an option. Neither was the case when I and four business colleagues found ourselves ALL with freezing rooms during our stay. To the hotel's credit, the front desk tried to turn up the heat but to little avail. I was in a corner room, which made the temperature problem worse. Lots of light, but rather small for a four star at the beach. At least I had a hot shower; some of my colleagues did not enjoy that luxury. Towel quality good. Mattress and pillows were three star, though Sans Souci is supposedly a four star hotel. Ditto for breakfast, which consisted of pre-packaged industrial offerings. The cafe was decent. The front desk was completely thrown off my my request for freezer facilities. They eventually found a solution but weren't prepared. A four star hotel without a freezer? Something is wrong with the ranking.
