Very picturesque setting and view from restaurant/breakfast zone stunning.
# staff very friendly, professional and helpful
# breakfast: plenty to choose from
# rooms vary in size from small to spacious to a romantic suite in a renovated windmill where italian actor Marcello Mastroianni once slept: all very clean
# unfortunately beach and sea leaves a lot to be desired: too much algae and the local law prohibits its removal so you have to walk about 15 minutes along the beach to a nearby resort to have access to clean sand and sea (recommend Sun Club). In any case, beach deckchairs, beds and umbrella not included in price so not a problem.
# very windy zone so pack a wind jacket or light pullover for the evening!
# although outstanding scenery and well kept structure i wouldn’t classify rooms as being 4 star: no noise barrier between rooms : clearly hear showers and flushing of WC’s
# no communal lounge area for meeting and chatting
# far from the maddening crowd / 10 mins car ride to Trapani / near beautiful medieval mountain town of Erice ( not to be missed but not on a foggy evening in june!!)More
