just returned from a national holiday trip to hotel nettuno lovely family run hotel made you feel very welcome had a room in the annex air con was a god send. not the usual type of hotel i normally chose when i go away but food was good but basic plenty of it, trip to Monaco and Monty Carlo was good, Must say a huge thanks to our drivers Viv and Gary both fantastic guys with good sense of humours took us to some fantasic places on way back top of the alps for a snowy brew xx met some fantasic people on the coach have laughed so much with Sue and Dee. I would go back to Italy and probably this hotel but would fly next time yes we did sign up for a coach holiday but the journey is not for thre faint hearted xx tips if your going take a picnic for your outward journey as services can be expensive book the back seats on coach a little more room all in all good holiday xx

Room Tip: annex rooms have air com sun terrace above annex quiet

This is a family run hotel that puts great customer service at the heart of everything they do.
National Holidays should take a leaf out of their book! The hotel staff are friendly, professional and will do anything to help you - they run a taxi service for a small fee and the food is lovely.
Would definitely visit again but would do so privately, not through National Holidays who sent us away with rogue drivers (Neil and Ken) and don't want to acknowledge the problems we faced because of that.
Thank God this hotel staff are as good as they are!

Me and my wife went to the Diano marina and the hotel Nettuno as part of a national holidays trip. First of all, I have read some reviews and some of our coach party have already slated our drivers Neil and Ken, sadly I have to agree with our fellow travellers, a coach trip this long should be made as pleasant as possible by your hosts, which in this case is the drivers. Though I didn`t actually hear their rudeness, they were in many cases unhelpful and un-informative.Also having drove for a living myself at some point, I did feel that Neil was driving too quickly in the tunnels on the way to Portifino, having to break hard on more than one occasion, causing worried looks on some passengers faces. We missed the Monte Carlo trip due to a bug we and many others caught and pretty much could not take advantage of the food or free drink whilst at the hotel. As for the hotel itself, our room did nothing to ease our discomfort, as the lack of air conditioning and the sun, beating almost 40 degrees of heat into our room made recovery that little bit harder. I believe a lick of bright paint and the wardrobes and door of our room painting a lighter colour with some Italian murals stencilled on them would make the room look more up to date, at minimal cost to the owner, as it was I felt that our room just required a couple of crucifix`s and some rosary`s hanging off the light and it would have resembled a Nun`s room in a convent. I won`t have a go too much at the hotel though, because they did their very best to make the holiday as good as possible for us, the owner was pleasant the other staff were great and the food(what we managed to have of it) was very good and plentiful. So I will ask the Nettuno not to take this review as a negative or direct criticism as it is not, it is simply inexpensive suggestion`s in order to consolidate their future. we managed to get on the trip to Portifino which was small but beautiful and this helped put a smile on our faces, the price of a G&T there didn`t though at 15 euro`s a glass, but hey, it was a place we are unlikely to see again, so we didn`t mind too much. The people on our coach were nice and there was plenty of camaraderie, among us, again the staff were pleasant and interactive, organising quizzes, bingo etc......Would I return to Diano Marina, I don`t think so, for me personally there wasn`t enough to do there, nice place, but not quite lively enough for my liking. All things considered, after months of looking forward to a holiday, I returned feeling as though I haven`t had one.

Room Tip: Room in the annexe, simple as, they had air-con and fridges.

Just returned from holiday in Nettuno Hotel, with National holidays, well what can, i say thanks to the two most unhelpful ,uninterested drivers it has ever been our misfortune to meet ,the trip to get there, through Switzerland??,a trip to Monty Carlo and Monaco we are non the wiser about any of these wonderful areas and if it wasnt for approx fourteen of us contracting the bug from hell we would have had nothing to talk about thanks to our non interested drivers Neil and Ken.
The Hotel was not 3 star but approx 2star, the staff were very hard working and helpful, the food was good but repetative,If we would have had a cat in our room it would have been very safe because you couldnt swing a cat round in it.
No air con in our room just a noisey cieling fan,We were taken to Monte Carlo and Monaco I know this because somone on the coach had been before and told us things of interest, the only info given by driver was how to get out of the car park under the principality.
Would I go again to The Italian RIviera? yes, with National Coaches definitely NO!!! finnally I would like to thank the people only not the dtivers on our coach for a good holiday but we will definitely not be traveling with National Coach again.

Room Tip: If taking trip to Monaco and Monte Carlo take plenty of euros very very expensive!!!!

Went with National Holidays, which was ruined by the two drivers, who decided it might be a good laugh to play a tape of an unknown Yorkshire comic.
Then say not a word further.
Didn't make a sound save when arriving at the next stop, no name just be back on the coach in so long.
They were asked to put the radio on because of the nautious silence but refused point blank.
They were rude, cheeky and quite worthy of prison guards.
We had 14 hour runs in abject silence arriving at our destination to find no food, restaurant closed, and no tea making facilities either in the room.
We received no labels although notice of this was actually shown in the minutest detain on the tickets, so was the requirement to have an overnight bag - again as the writer required medication, we had to asked for our suitcase to be met by disdain and caustic comment with argumentative dissent.
We went to Mertz why so, it's not on direct route but no doubt saved a few shekels on road tolls.
They took us via Switzerland where the stop asked €5 for a coffee, and €17. 80 for a single bratwurst, and charged for toilet.
The driving of one of the drivers was appalling, apart from the silence, the speed and late braking was very poor.
Apart from the above the Riviera is expensive but beautiful, our hotel was a little tired but excellent for our purpose.
Our room was in the annex was clean, spacious, modern with fridge and a brew kit, cleaned daily, and good value.
Entertainment was bingo, a quiz and great guitarist - well done.
We had choices at lunch and dinner which catered for every taste, the staff would always amend the menu if asked, and Claudia the waiter was a smashing lad - again well done.
Never have I seen a more hard working family for which they can be truly proud
Our little one failed to win the converted panda and at the end of the bingo took herself off to ask if she might purchase it, it was given to her for which we thank the family, and would let you know it takes pride of place and has been named "Starburst".
Thank you Hotel Nettuno for rescuing us from the appalling coach trip.

Room Tip: We only know about the annex which was very quiet which is just what we wanted.
