Ignore any bad review you read of this restaurant. It is a very special restaurant which is experimenting and developing Tuscan cuisine which is often locked into traditionalism. The food is specially prepared and takes time but the service is always informative and enthusiastic. For anyone from London the prices are very very reasonable. I have eaten here under its new management probably 6 or 7 times and never been disappointed. It needs to be encouraged and cherished. Can't wait for my next visit.

We were dissatisfied with the meal at Gli Artisti.. The pasta were quite good, but we had to wait absolute ages for the main course. The service was entirely uncoordinated, as eventually the dishes were served by two, as we were five, we had to eat in "shifts". No word of apology or explanation from the staff, who were rushing past us,trying to avoid being asked about the delay. Finally, the waiter was quite stumped when we asked for the bill right after the meal.
We will not return to this place.

We dined in the main air conditioned dining room. Almost everything we ordered was either not the right dish or not at the right time. Decent food but nothing amazing.
Not really he kind of service you would expect at 40€ person!

Congratulations to this restaurant for pushing Tuscan food in a new direction. Its creative menu is outstanding and served with enthusiasm. It was so good I had to go back to see more of what they served. Do yourself a favour, have lunch or dinner there at least once. They need to be supported and encouraged. There is only one word to describe the food - FABULOUS
